By the sounds of it, there will be three.  One solid, one green translucent, and one glow in the dark, although they're waiting on samples to make sure the effect actually pops properly

I wonder how a chestnut Minwax dip would look over the Glow in the Dark?

It would both dull the glow, and make it take longer to absorb enough light.

But, a drybrush with a GitD paint would help bring it back up.

Me, I think I would prefer a 'zombie' ship to a 'ghost' ship - but both are cool. (And, again, GitD paint is a thing - I can highlight in a Glow in the Dark paint for a foxfire effect.)

Thanks, I can’t really keep track

WHAT? Shame on you young lady! After all, you have only been job hunting, moving into a new place and being a Mom to an adorable baby! You have SO much free time!

No idea how much tabs and connection points this ship will have, but you'd see them in clear, wouldn't you? And even if those aren't the problem, the interior of that ship seems fairly packed. So much material in inside the ship will probably make it all look rather blobby and mashed together

It depends on how much interior detail Chris Lewis decides to put in. And will that interior detail look like ribs, strakes, beams, knees, and planks?

Twin thoughts to think about: Do you really want to see all of that timber detail if the ship is translucent?  If the ship is translucent and those sorts of details are absent, will that lack of authenticity be disappointing?

Either way @Nunae 's point is a good one: enough layers of translucent material will eventually look like a solid-ish milky green[?] blob.

All this, ^ but in translucent plastic?   (Plank and framing models like this are called Admiralty Models.)

@Chris Lewis: are the masts going to be represented on every deck? (For those that don't know, on ships of this period, the masts extended down to the keelson.)

Having a post on each deck at all the mast locations might help hold up each deck above and prevent sagging.

I'm planning to order a Reaper figurehead and a Hippocampus figurehead if they're both available.

Yeah, they will be.  Last week Ron said the woman with the guns comes with the ship and the other options are going to be add-ons in the Pledge Manager.

Decided to go ahead any just add what I wanted to my pledge (I know I'm not supposed to be buying any more minis at the moment, but this Kickstarter was from before that so it doesn't count :;):).

So far I've locked in:-

Elves, Kid Heroes, Halloween Free-bees, Sophie's Lucky Dice, Storm Giant, Rune Wights, Elemental Scions, Bust Collection, Sirens and Shadows of Ravenhome.

Next month I'm going to start adding an expansion a month. Definitely getting Greek, Dark Depths, Brinewind and Fan Favourites, still undecided on Dungeon Dwellers though.

I like your reasoning!

I will follow your lead here...

Pixies, Wyrms, Demonicity – Three Mini Role-Playing Games

Three ready-for-adventure mini-game boxed sets for your RPG game night, featuring the Tri-Stat System used in BESM Fourth Edition RPG.

If you're looking for role-playing games that are concise enough to crack open and start playing right away, yet sufficiently robust and evocative to support longer campaign play as well, you've come to the right place.

Welcome to the Kickstarter for the first three Tri-Stat System Mini-Game Boxed Sets – a new line of compact and complete role-playing adventure games that are compatible with Dyskami Publishing's flagship BESM Fourth Edition anime and manga RPG. Tri-Stat System creator Mark MacKinnon has distilled and customised the complete system into distinct streamlined versions for each of the three adventure games – targeting their specific genres and background settings in easy-to-understand boxed sets.

Pixies, Wyrms, and Demonicity – it's time for your next great role-playing adventure!

Pixies, Wyrms, and Demonicity – These boxed set RPGs are games of adventure, exploration, battle, heroism, romance, and imagination. Yet unlike in a traditional board game, the possibilities for exploration and action in these role-playing game are endless.

Each of the three role-playing adventure games contains the following components:

a 32-page full-colour rulebook that gives your group everything you need to play, with sections on character abilities, magical spells/paranormal powers, weapons and equipment, enemy encounters, items and equipment, and guidelines for integrating the Tri-Stat System game with the compatible BESM Fourth Edition RPG
6 brief story scenarios so you can start playing adventures right away
6 pre-generated player character sheet handouts, with game stats and illustration
4 custom-etched dice specific to that boxed set

You can pledge for one, two, or all three of these boxed sets during the Kickstarter.

      ...

I know know nothing about these creators or the system, but I decided to back for Pixies entirely because of that picture of the corgi. 👀
