  The Pirate Maiden is the default. Apologies for not making that clear in the update.

  The Pirate Maiden comes with the ship. It's in the pledge manager just for folks who want extras or who just want one to paint (without having to order a ship).

So it looks like that pirate maiden is already included with the ship. So I can spend that $8 on werewolves.

Does anyone know if the ship prow pauldron on the Sea Giant is a separate piece or moulded on? It would make a nice piece f scenery just on its own.

Is that a genuine concern?  I mean, has that happened before, and if so, how much was it jacked up?  I waited til the end to lock in last time, and I don't recall the shipping being unusually high.  Memory fades, though.

 

Also, that's still an impressive list of Bones for someone who's holding back.

There's always a chance that a shipper will change it's rates.  The software Reaper uses tries to select the most economical shipper, but there are no guarantees.  To my understanding, shipping rate / total shipping cost has nothing to do with when you locked in.  Only the size and weight of the boxes.

No, they are different ships, both flippin' big mind you.

 

Easy ID; Sea Giant had 2 funnels, Seawise Giant had only 1.

I'm also hoping for cannons to be added separately. Either individually, or in sets of 2, 5 or 10. My Fisher price ships need arming.

 

So Far, My locked in consists of: 

Pirate ship x 1

Female henchmen x 1

 

I don't know. There is plenty I like, but something keeps stopping me from adding more. I kind of wish there was a "all rainbow sculptor" Option. But even then I am not sure I would bump up right now.

I've only added the Core set & the ship so far. Just no interest in adding more to my order. I'm sure that'll change in the coming months but the one thing that really sticks out is the ship & currently I kinda wish I hadn't bought it.

I alternate between regretting i got it, and wanting to add a second one.

Yah no way I'll be doing that & I really don't care what materials they decide to cast it in. If anything, I can always try to sell it off on ebay whenever I get it, if the love for it never comes back.
