i might get it. hubby wants it, but doesn't think he'll use it anytime soon, but i also know once it hits retail he'll NEVER get it due to price, so i might just get it as a gift for him

They did not say.  I presume a lot.  At least 61, based on an estimated guess, and a very quick count of the lay-out and known parts.

One reason why it was part of of my initial pledge amount. Looks good thou. Right now thou, I'm not sure what I'm gonna do with 2 large ships......

when does pledge manager end again?

also, does anyone remember how it works if you've already locked in your pledge and then add more onto it? does it delay the shipment of your order or does all your orders ship at once based on when you first locked in when Reaper is filling them

Pledge Manager was to close at the end of August IIRC.  I just tried to get to the KS site to check, but there was a message about it going down for a while.  I know the date of closing is not yet exactly known.  It may go until later or earlier, but they haven't said when yet.

 

In the past, your place within your wave was determined by when you locked in your first order.  I believe they're still doing it that way.  Everything you order will ship at the same time.

August 31st.

 

All that matters is when you locked in your first order.  Additional orders have no effect on your shipment position.

I think I want to wait for the clear version, so that the windows will still be translucent when I'm done painting it. I think that'd probably look cooler overall.

 

And, when the pirate queen masthead is in use, the ship shall be known as "the Ruthless."

For me as well.

Not even sure If I will actually keep it, but I rather think about that when holding it in my greedy paws for a reasonable price than drool over it knowing it will be too expensive anyway.

My main problem with it is storage/display, but know I know.

 

It will be put in my display cabinet in the section meant for pirates/conquistadores, maybe sea creatures.

So the ship will be in there, the minis on deck and around it.

Basically turning that shelf into a small diorama...

i know hubby is still iffy on the ship because it's a bit advanced for a D&D medieval ship, but i'm sure he can get past the inaccuracy

Keep in mind that some forms of D&D have self-driven ships powered by bound elementals...

I do get what you are saying, but even official D&D sources cover a wide swath of real-world nautical and technological eras (including gun powder use).

 

Still, I think the WizKids Nolzur's ballistas will be a good option for those who don't want cannons.
