After the flack they got for shrinking Argent, and because they made such a selling point of the ship’s size, my guess would be that it has proven much mure costly than they expected, but they’re going to fulfill the KS orders as promised but then cease production of it.

I’d of actually loved if they had offered a 1/2 or 3/4 size version of the same ship. I could have literally had a variety of different ships.
Chris Palmer
Some shots of the actual model of the Mandupar Temple in the latest email update. Also a photo of a sample of the glow in the dark ship material option they are considering (pending final production approval). The update stated they are still not 100% sure they will offer this option. Also in the update they announced the Dragons Don’t Share dragon will be added to the PM as a power up And a bunch of photos in the update of physical models of other offerings: Beastmen Demonic Legion Demonic Temptation. These are actual production models done in Bones Black. Edited August 22, 2020 by Chris Palmer 14
Adrift
I’m sorta pessimistic about the glow in the dark ship. I want to be optimistic and I know Reaper would deliver quality if they find an option they can execute upon; I just have a feeling that the idea of a glow in the dark ship is cooler than actual practice. I don’t want to drop $100 to find out if it’s way less cool than I imagined. 4

I'll leave the other materials to others.

They were reasonably heavy on marketing the size of Argent through the campaign.

If that ship gets shrunk I expect some kind of refund, the size has been advertised several times during the KS so I hope it stays that way. I can imagine that it won't hit retail.

Ron said the GitD was going to be more.
Disciple of Sakura
Hmmm... If the SS Reaper isn't going to get a retail release, it makes me more tempted to get a second one so I can sell it after the fact...

I can’t imagine how much a fully painted version would sell for in the aftermarket if it was a KS exclusive.

Could use one! 8

Forthonswing
*edit - information subsequently corrected by reaper Ron and it will indeed be smoky* I have just noticed Krateryx, the shadow dragon, is going to be translucent purple, not smoky or clear. I think that is going to upend my painting plans. Maybe if it was a very faint purple, but from what I have seen of the other purple translucents it is pretty overwhelming. Has anyone thought about how they will approach it short of priming the whole thing? I’ve found using dry-brushing and layering the raised edges is good so that it shows the translucency in the deepest recesses! It’s a cool effect imo
