ksbsnowowl
Thanks for the picture @kristof65. I’d seen that thread before, and have purchased 5 gem dragons because of it. Perhaps I’m misremembering from your thread, but I recall you pointing out the grey Tamiya Clear was the one color that didn’t do a great job of fully obscuring the base purple color of the shadow demon. Regardless, I’m happy to see that @Reaper Ron clarified the mistake, and am happy that I will be getting smokey grey shadow dragons. Time to order another... Thanks, Ron! I know you guys are busy. Keep on keepin’ on.

I've corrected it in the Pledge Manager. There are a LOT of moving parts to keep track of. Thanks! I guess the time has come to close out my order.
Fnordlover
Question for those who can keep up with such things: Will the Campground and Trailer Park Scenics Power Up be traditional Bonesium or Bones Black?
Talae
I would love a spreadsheet of which things are Bones Black if someone happens to have one! 3

I know @Reaper_Jon was planning to compile such a list, once he had time. But with ReaperCon this/next week, I wouldn’t expect him to have time until that is over.
Super Administrators Reaper_Jon Posted August 25, 2020 Super Administrators Share Posted August 25, 2020 I know that All Expansions are bones black as well as PC character size models. - Exceptions like the Daimyo dragon - (bones) Things that are big like the terrain from the encounters, dragons, will be bonesium. Thats a good rule of thumb to go by. @ksbsnowowl @Talae 6
DragonWyrm
I keep looking at the crocodile hybrid fish thing in the Dark Depths Expansion, and I keep wondering if its based on any prehistoric creature. From what I could find the snout, scales and tail fins are the completely wrong shape for the Crocodylomorphas that swam in the seas. Any one know the inspiration, or will I need to do some converting.

DragonWyrm
Thanks for the help, I know most of them thought a Litorosuchus does look interesting. The problem with that sculpt is that you must either re-sculpt the legs and tail to fit a land/river Crocodylomorpha OR re-sculpt the skin, head, fins and tail to feet a sea dwelling one. In the museum in my home town there used to be a cryptotaxidermied critter that was the head and body of an alligator with fins replacing the legs and tail that looked very much like this beastie.
Reaper User Reaper Ron Posted August 26, 2020 Reaper User Share Posted August 26, 2020 Who can say exactly how Wiebe was inspired? That man mixes so much zoology with fantasy and sprinkles it with a touch of whimsy to get his amazing results.
Lidless Eye
I assumed Mr. Wiebe just based it on one of the pugs again. 4 6
