Looks like a Merqueen did sneak into Dark Depths

That set keeps on looking better and better.

Also, can't remember if this was mentioned:

Yep he is in translucent grey.

Furthermore: the Shadows of Ravenhome encounter got close ups. This mini looks so interesting.

I really liked that set, but wow there are a surprising amount of Vampiresses in Bones V now that I think about it.  This set, Dungeon Dwellers has one, Fan Favorites another.   There's already a few from previous KS, too.  I guess it will just be one of those less common monsters that has a ton of variety in Bones (I guess they could be Spawn, though)

We're getting closer en closer to finalization. This leaves me wondering with the shipping part with the EU site.

My pledge manager is calculating $15,- in shipping, take or leave.

I would be amazed if that was to be the whole shipping with my $850 order. But I would love to be amazed! :p

Have they mentioned somewhere what is to be expected in shipping and VAT for the EU site?

I was definitely getting them with the intent of using them as vampire spawn.  I appreciate the inclusion of the more feral winged ones as well.  Bones has plenty of top-dog vamps but not a lot of murder-fodder.

This is actually something I worry about.

With the Brexit coming it could mean paying VAT twice?

I've asked before but no reply.

For me, eventhough I love Reaper minis and this KS it will probably be the last time I will back.

The word "ouch" comes to mind, as I barely have anything in my box and I'm already easily close to $25...

Is it going to be a bad hit even from the UK hub? Unfortunately, brexit, like most things is something no one knows what will happen. It would be nice if Reaper could give an answer, but the world is in such turmoil, I fear even getting the stuff out of China with the way things are going:(

Earlier they made the  right plans to secure a second hub in Europe. I believe Germany was mentioned, but that may as well be an estimate from someone.

As time has passed for the plans to be thought out, a hint of these plans would be great to hear. Nothing set in stone, but just the knowledge it's being worked on would be something.

@Reaper_Jon I don't suppose you could find something out?

I'm very much still expecting VAT to be put on later, or more shipping once things finalize.

I'd rather have it like you have it, to be known upfront what you can calculate.

The thing is, when Reaper built the HUB in the UK, the UK was part of the EU.

They won't be by the time Reaper delivers.

This could mean, having to pay VAT one time for shipping to the UK and then paying a SECOND time VAT for shipping to the EU from the UK which is by then also Non-EU.

It is still unclear.

If this happens then it is no longer profitable to back a KS like this for me.

I don't really fear a double VAT. We know they were busy with another EU hub. If double VAT would be a risk at that time, I imagine they would let it be shipped to, and from, that other EU hub they mentioned.

I would just like to be reassured, and a bit updated, on that process. Did the other EU hub become a fact? Is there a risk involved?

If someone would tell me it's there, it's in Germany and they are still looking into the shipping costs and VAT, and wait to see what UK has done by the time of shipping, then I'm happy. Sure there are uncertainties, but some updates would be cool.

A few updates (or lack of updates) from tonight's Reaper Live.

1. Reaper submitted the final numbers to the factory today.  So it is imperative you close out your initial pledges.  You can always make more orders up until December 1st, but run the risk of them running out and not being able to fulfill what you ordered closer to Dec 1st.  (In which case they will either substitute, or provide you with a Reaper gift certificate for the eventual MSRP for when the model is released to retail).

2. I asked about the Brexit/EU Hub situation, mentioning people were waiting for an update/confirmation of a German hub, and Dave gave this response in the chat:

3.  Reminder that Sept and Oct will have Bones 5 updates on second and fourth Fridays, so there should be a Bones 5 Live and a KS update tomorrow.

Another “large collection of miniatures” kickstarters, reminiscent of the recent Blacklist Games Fantasy kickstarters.

I am tempted, even though it covers a lot of things we already have.
