I thought they hired a guy to manage social media and external communications. Yet even today, disparate forms of communication and lack thereof in the channel seems to continue. Because this communicating in one place and not through official channels is precisely how it was going before they hired a guy so that job’s not getting done. I’m not going to watch reaper live.

Well, the last time I backed Bones, VAT was already included in what I paid Reaper, so it was shipped to the EU and I didn't need to pay the mailman anymore.

Now if we do this now, that will only count for arriving at the UK.

Since the UK by then has left the EU, it is unclear what will happen then, the UK could ask me for VAT again since they now have to ship it to the EU.

I know it's a small chance but I would like it to be clear.

 

Anyway, with Covid/Brexit and all that's going on, I have started to back 3d files KS only.

Those I can download and I will not have to worry about delays and VAT and such, maybe later when things have cooled down I will back a physical ks again.

Thanks, I might be wrong about it, it's just unclear to me.

And since the latest Brexit talks are again as clear as a puddle of mud it's unclear what kind of deals or no-deals we can expect.

So I understand why Reaper wouldn't be able to answer that part.

I would like to know if they're able to use a different EU hub to prevent all the uncertainty.

The only folks who are going to need to be concerned about substitutions are the backers who close out their pledges after December 1. I don't expect that anyone in this forum will need to worry about substitutions. 

 

And there will be backers who forgot to close out their peldge or didn't know the December 1 cut off. And we will do our best to accommodate those backers as best we can to get them what they ordered.

 

Inevitably, there will be backers who *never* close out their pledge. We still get folks contacting us telling us that they never got their Vampire Set from Bones 1. Not kidding.

If I can ask you one more question while you’re here, people have been asking for clarification as to what material the Add-Ons will be for months. All we have been told is that bigger stuff is in Bones and smaller stuff is in Bones Black. This is too vague. Some of us would like to know what material we are actually purchasing. Is it possible to get a table showing the materials of the various pieces in this KS, particularly before December 1st?

Thank you for clarifying that @Reaper Ron, Ed just didn't clarify enough I think on Reaper Live! We really need those "official" answers here in the forums like Ladystorm did here in the kickstarter information threads.

We are really trying to be better about "official" answers here. We certainly understand that there is a ton of information spread out over multiple outlets. Too many irons in the fire!

Thanks for the clarification, as it eases a lot of concerns.  It's been a rough year financially (to say the least), but the mere thought of having something arbitrarily substituted really riles me up, because such kind of defeats the whole point of picking choices in the pledge manager alongside having a set close date for said PM. 

 

Any word on additional bases, such as 74048, 74032, and 74033 being added into the pledge manager?  Or the lipped ones (74023 for example)?

( i know he will be doing it the same time as the KS update write up for the website)(Ron also said that if all 500 goes out over night, we will talk about adding more. We are not making them scarce on purpose, it has to do with the material cost and the limited quantity to order. So if we buy 2000 and only 50 people get it, its not good)
