I am 98% sure they said the dragons come separate from their bases and we would have to glue them on ourselves.

Thanks,  Pochi! They did indeed say that.

However, I watched Friday's Twitch stream as closely as I could, and it really looks like Aganzarax's tail is part of the base, even as Ron was saying the feet were separate . I'm just trying to see if I can double-up on Dragon+UseableTerrain and thus justify yet more money, but in this specific case I think not.

Some of the other dragons definitely looked separate to the bases, and all of them looked fantastic. Surprised how nice the Shadow Dragon looks in the translucent material, and I love the unique back-and-tail plating that Valfuryx has.

I know the Pledge Manager is open until January 31st, but it will be interesting to see what if anything is actually left.  I suspect very little...

I'm 98% sure I'm done with my additions for Bones 5 at this point.  The great thing about that is that any Christmas Money I get can be socked away for Bones 6!  ::D:

The only thing I may still add on are bases.  Though they keep talking about another Base Boss KS, so do I get more now, wait fir BB KS, or both?  I suspect I'll go with both.

I sort of had a question about turn-offs in the PM too (though I am not sure if they have done this selected turn-off thing before). I am thinking of adding the paints, but was probably going to wait until after Christmas. I am assuming the paints will remain on there until the PM closes, as they are made in house and there isn't like... a limit Reaper has to have decided beforehand. But would they theoretically be shut off earlier?

I'd say that anything is possible, but it is extremely unlikely.

In my opinion Aganzarax is the best of the digitally sculpted dragons. Its pose looks the most natural and it has the best base. A close second is the Shadow Dragon followed by the Gem Dragon. Overall I prefer conventionally sculpted dragons, they seem to have better poses overall.

I am so tempted by the dragons from core set now. I am just worried on how they will stay upright. They look pretty prone to drooping.

I cannot wait to turn one of the aganzarax I ordered into a good Venekor:)

I definitely prefer Julie Guthrie dragons and the variety she gets in the details and scaling, but for 3D sculpted dragons they aren't bad.

I'm particularly enamored by these dragons because of how big and chunky they are.  They seem meatier and heftier than most dragon sculpts.  Plus they are quite clearly modeled after the 5e dragons so that's even better in my book.  I do agree that some of them look a bit lifeless, though.

This was Jon's answer earlier in the thread:

I’m 99% certain it was stated at some point that the Core Set dragons are Bones Black. They’re small enough regardless that they would be a good candidate for it. And even if not, last Friday’s Twitch stream demonstrated the increased rigidity they have been able to get with Classic Bones.

Pixies, Wyrms, Demonicity – Three Mini Role-Playing Games

Three ready-for-adventure mini-game boxed sets for your RPG game night, featuring the Tri-Stat System used in BESM Fourth Edition RPG.

If you're looking for role-playing games that are concise enough to crack open and start playing right away, yet sufficiently robust and evocative to support longer campaign play as well, you've come to the right place.

Welcome to the Kickstarter for the first three Tri-Stat System Mini-Game Boxed Sets – a new line of compact and complete role-playing adventure games that are compatible with Dyskami Publishing's flagship BESM Fourth Edition anime and manga RPG. Tri-Stat System creator Mark MacKinnon has distilled and customised the complete system into distinct streamlined versions for each of the three adventure games – targeting their specific genres and background settings in easy-to-understand boxed sets.

Pixies, Wyrms, and Demonicity – it's time for your next great role-playing adventure!

Pixies, Wyrms, and Demonicity – These boxed set RPGs are games of adventure, exploration, battle, heroism, romance, and imagination. Yet unlike in a traditional board game, the possibilities for exploration and action in these role-playing game are endless.

Each of the three role-playing adventure games contains the following components:

a 32-page full-colour rulebook that gives your group everything you need to play, with sections on character abilities, magical spells/paranormal powers, weapons and equipment, enemy encounters, items and equipment, and guidelines for integrating the Tri-Stat System game with the compatible BESM Fourth Edition RPG
6 brief story scenarios so you can start playing adventures right away
6 pre-generated player character sheet handouts, with game stats and illustration
4 custom-etched dice specific to that boxed set

You can pledge for one, two, or all three of these boxed sets during the Kickstarter.

      ...

I know know nothing about these creators or the system, but I decided to back for Pixies entirely because of that picture of the corgi. 👀
