something i drew many many many years ago   seems fitting

I totally agree with you in that those particular exaggerations are not very realistic in function. This was a challenging character/figure to create because I wanted her to read as feminine but als

So i watched that Reaper live commentary and they showed the trailer it was getting loaded on to. Then someone made a joke about tracking that number shown in the photo by looking it up.

Did anyone manage to do this?

I mean, it's as simple as just putting the numbers into a cargo tracking site: https://parcelsapp.com/en/tracking/EISU9334729

@Guyra i had tried entering the info a few places, but came up with nothing.  I would not make for a very good man of mystery.

Guess who just put that on their favorites.  This guy!

March 14th, eh? The secret is out!

Thanks,  Guyra.

My haul wound up being fairly simple, but that's good because if it's shipped UPS like last time my driver will be happy about it being small and light...  And if it's USPS/CanadaPost it will be easy to handle on the twenty minute walk home...

Two of the dragon from DDS2,

Two Dragon Busts,

And the new paints.

Seriously, that's all that's in my order.  Part of it though is so many other things demanded my funds, and there was also the desire to simply focus on stuff I could get within two weeks when I did have money. ^_^

  • 2 weeks later...

My selection was fairly reasonable.  I spent too much and I got what l wanted.  It was fun... Soooo many dragons!  I wound up getting most of the big pieces and the core set.  I haven't gotten duplicates in any of the previous kickstarters and saw no reason to start now.

So if Reaper could just back a truck up to my house and bury me in little plastic figurines, that would be appreciated ::D:

Just checked the container shipment.  Only shows 3 days of transit with an ETA of March 23rd.  So close...

It is only showing for that one container that we had numbers on.  The others in sure are on the way or making port soon.

I haven't known what to post here without being repetitive.

I've recently been painting and ordering minis for Rangers of Shadow deep and already have some Bones 5 things reserved for that use.  Plus a few items that I decided to wait for Bones 5 before painting.  Like the B4 wraiths so I can paint them to match the wraith lord and riders.

Buy them again, paint them again!

The fun never stops!  Especially since the regular wraith release is green translucent, and the B4 versions were opaque.

Which makes me wonder...Was it ever said if Murkillor and the riders would be opaque or translucent?

It's interesting... I'm actually not super enthusiastic about Bones 5 (or 6 for that matter) at the moment. Which is weird, cause I'm still looking forward to a lot of the minis, but... Maybe after we move, and have a slightly bigger space? Just feeling really cramped right now.

I have so many things that need painted that it's not much of a problem to decide to wait on some of them.  There's plenty to work on in the mean time.

I forgot that they were opaque in B4.  I missed them during the KS and picked them up from retail.  Though I will likely paint them solid anyways.  Haven't quite figure out how to paint with translucents to my liking and have more confidence with just painting over them.

@MoonglowMinisI got some advice that I cannot believe how helpful it was from @DragonWyrm.  He told me to use a matte varnish on the translucent areas first.  This help the regular paint bond when painting over it, otherwise it'll just slip off.  IF you prime it, it'll obviously just cover the work.  I did a post where I made a Green Slaad and made an acid ball in green/yellow and kept the translucent.  Now, granted it was my FIRST TIMEdoing one like this, but that advice was the coolest tip I'd had in a while. Worked like a charm!  Big kudos to @DragonWyrmfor the tip.

If you're considering the translucent - Vallejo Matte Varnish is what I'd recommend.  It's awesome!

Something else worth noting is I used an ink on the acid ball with a sunlight yellow paint and white to highlight.  I think the ink's transparency helps while maintaining the color.  You could probably get away with a wash or really, really light glaze to keep the transparency.

I find that a matte or gloss varnish and then ink washes can help pick out details. Also, highlighting with a lighter shade can be good, too. Paint the opaque areas like normal. Here's some examples:

Bones 4 Ghost Pirates

Kyphrixis, White Dragon

Like some on here, I'm looking forward to getting my "poop" load of minis but these days I'm more interested in getting stuff I need for games.

Wellcome to our biggest miniatures ever! Blood and Skulls ork rider is the largest and more detailed miniature in 70 mm scale that Nocturna models released in all of these years. This project is really monstruous and we need your help to fund it.
Take a look at all the figures in the campaign, all of them are in 70 mm scale. Blood and Skulls is 28 cm high!
        28 cm total size

I've bought everything this company has put out so far.  I'll probably pick up these two as well.  Really great figures based on classic artwork.

These two are both nude, so I can't show pictures here!

"The muses" is a range of miniatures offered by Golem Miniatures.
These 80 mm scale figures, in limited edition, will all come from realistic and oriental paintings of great painters of the nineteenth, a period that we greatly love.
During the fourth campaign "The muses", we had suggested that you submit ideas for the next muses. A vote had then been put in place to decide between the 27 muses that you had selected.
One muse dominated this vote: "La boîte à bijoux" painted by Guillaume Seignac.
To accompany it, a second muse has been chosen on the same theme: "human skin on animal skin". You will discover it below, hoping she inspires you! :)

During the third Muses campaign, we produced the magnificent Lady Godiva painted by John Collier, a famous English painter and one of the founders of the Royal Society of Portrait Painters.
Here is another of his works: "Lilith" painted in 1889.
Lilith is a mythical Hebrew and Biblical figure (Adam's first wife), whom some see as the very first portrayal of feminism in history.

      Story
I'm Adam Sadler, senior game designer at Blacklist Games, and I love miniatures. They are what got my brother Brady and me into the hobby back when we were teenagers. Whether we’re using them in roleplaying games, board games, or tabletop miniatures games, we love collecting, assembling, painting, and playing with them. While Blacklist Games has published several of our games that feature miniatures, they saw our passion could be used for the creation of a new division that would focus solely on miniatures and allow for company growth in parallel with creating great board games. With everyone at the company excited about the possibility of this new division, here we are to share it with you!
Blacklist Miniatures will focus entirely on producing high quality, highly detailed, pre-assembled plastic miniatures to be used in any type of game. Blacklist Miniatures: Fantasy Series 1, our first miniatures line, is not only a celebration of our love for miniatures, but also of all things fantasy.
With your support, this campaign will not only bring this project to life, but also open the door to other lines of miniatures in various genres and even new games to utilize them!

First time posting a KS thread.  Tribality is releasing a companion book to their previous KS "Seas of Vodari."  I thoroughly enjoyed the previous book and have been looking forward to this one.
As this is the first time I'm posting a KS thread, please feel free to let me know if I'm doing anything wrong.

I think that's enough for context.  The rest can be found on the KS page.
