something i drew many many many years ago   seems fitting

I totally agree with you in that those particular exaggerations are not very realistic in function. This was a challenging character/figure to create because I wanted her to read as feminine but als

Hypothetically speaking...Can a ghost paint?

Asking for a friend..

well, At least i will be in good company as i wander the earth for eternity.  Come to think of it, that could be not a bad gig:  group of mini painters die with unfinished minis and spend the rest of eternity hanging out at game stores using other peoples dice rolls to play RPGs with each other.  When you get bored playing, you can scare the living bejeezus out of the players for not rolling right

Grow in the dark sounds terrifying for something already so large.

😄

Is this another of those 'dont feed it after midnight' things?  becuase i am definitely feeding it after midnight...

Actually my plan is to try surface painting the ship and leaving the cracks and crevices unpainted so it will hopefully glow through the cracks of a (hopefully) dark ship!

Every day i find myself waiting for the big post.  Cmon.... cmon....

It's going to be a few more weeks.  The show tonight got pre-empted by thunderstorms that knocked out power, but they did say they were waiting on a few more containers, and after those arrived there would still be a week or two of warehouse organization and set-up before fulfillment began.   No dates, no hard timeline yet.

Ok, So have I missed something?   I'm seeing a lot of discussion on shipping.  Have I missed something because I last heard Reaper was waiting for the last 2 containers.   Has there been an update on this since the last KS update?  Thanks all

Nothing new, they are waiting on more containers.

Just went through and counted, and I'm getting 785 minis from this KS. And that's counting each ship(both normal and GITD) as a single mini. (Would've counted the cannons separately, but I've no idea how many cannons we ended up getting for these.)

Looks like I'll be painting a lot this year!

I'm a little scared to count. But... I kinda need to lol. Sooo, cross posting from the other Bones V thread:

Does anyone have a list of each expansion/add-on/power up, with both backer prices and late backer prices?

I'm only looking for a list of prices for the purchaseable units, not for individual miniatures in each group (since that list is already available).

I think they said 20 cannons. So, you’re getting 40!

Useful information from today's emailed update:

View on Kickstarter

Hey Backers!

Not a lot of big news in the last two weeks, but a few small developments.

-Three more containers arrived this past week, two of which contained most of the Pirate Ship models for USA fulfillment. This thing is HUGE and you guys are going to love it!

-The third container was filled with various Options from Bones 5, including Aganzarax, Valfuryx, the War Mammoth, and most of the Extras from the Core Set.

-We're still expecting at least two more containers, these filled with Ghost Pirate Ships, the remaining Options, and some various odds and ends such as the packaging material for the Learn to Paint Kit for Bones 5.

-Containers to our UK and AU hubs are on the way; we do not have an ETA at these warehouses yet. We expect that by our next update we'll have more solid information concerning our AU and UK shipments."

Despite the VAT issue for non-USA backers, Reaper’s delivery timeline is really syncing up this go around.

I juxtapose this against the litany of delays and excuses I get from other Kickstarter projects.

I like getting good news. ::D:

How many times can i hit refresh to see if today is the day?  I know, i know, be patient.  It's like xmas eve and knowing that's a new bike in the big box.  It's like getting through the wedding to get to the excitement of wedding night.   It's like getting ready for an ACDC concert knowing it's going to blow you away!  It's like...

C'mon containers!  I can hardly contain my enthusiasm levels in this thread.  I might spill into others soon.

Makes me wonder if the people who drive the trucks have any notion of just how excited adults get for little plastic toys of imaginary creatures...if they did, it might make them drive a little faster!

Been watching the previews for this on Bold's Instagram,  Some crazy cute models, this time sculpted by  Ismael Nieto.  I'm particularly fond of Bisa and Tori, the winners of the dino race, and the BatPacker is too cute.  Resin cast and STL like their last several releases.  I've picked up their STLs before and been very happy, Planning to try to swing for at least one in resin this time, though shipping from Sweden hurts.

      Story
Wellcome to our biggest miniatures ever! Blood and Skulls ork rider is the largest and more detailed miniature in 70 mm scale that Nocturna models released in all of these years. This project is really monstruous and we need your help to fund it.
Take a look at all the figures in the campaign, all of them are in 70 mm scale. Blood and Skulls is 28 cm high!
        28 cm total size

I've bought everything this company has put out so far.  I'll probably pick up these two as well.  Really great figures based on classic artwork.

These two are both nude, so I can't show pictures here!

"The muses" is a range of miniatures offered by Golem Miniatures.
These 80 mm scale figures, in limited edition, will all come from realistic and oriental paintings of great painters of the nineteenth, a period that we greatly love.
During the fourth campaign "The muses", we had suggested that you submit ideas for the next muses. A vote had then been put in place to decide between the 27 muses that you had selected.
One muse dominated this vote: "La boîte à bijoux" painted by Guillaume Seignac.
To accompany it, a second muse has been chosen on the same theme: "human skin on animal skin". You will discover it below, hoping she inspires you! :)

During the third Muses campaign, we produced the magnificent Lady Godiva painted by John Collier, a famous English painter and one of the founders of the Royal Society of Portrait Painters.
Here is another of his works: "Lilith" painted in 1889.
Lilith is a mythical Hebrew and Biblical figure (Adam's first wife), whom some see as the very first portrayal of feminism in history.

      Story
I'm Adam Sadler, senior game designer at Blacklist Games, and I love miniatures. They are what got my brother Brady and me into the hobby back when we were teenagers. Whether we’re using them in roleplaying games, board games, or tabletop miniatures games, we love collecting, assembling, painting, and playing with them. While Blacklist Games has published several of our games that feature miniatures, they saw our passion could be used for the creation of a new division that would focus solely on miniatures and allow for company growth in parallel with creating great board games. With everyone at the company excited about the possibility of this new division, here we are to share it with you!
Blacklist Miniatures will focus entirely on producing high quality, highly detailed, pre-assembled plastic miniatures to be used in any type of game. Blacklist Miniatures: Fantasy Series 1, our first miniatures line, is not only a celebration of our love for miniatures, but also of all things fantasy.
With your support, this campaign will not only bring this project to life, but also open the door to other lines of miniatures in various genres and even new games to utilize them!
