My Son's Bachelor party is on the second weekend of July.  It is a campaign I am running for him featuring kobold pirates.  With my luck I'll get the ship the Monday after the party.

My son ships out for the Navy on July 6th. Since there are items in the box that are for him, I expect that it won't deliver until July 7th at the earliest.

Count on it being a troll.

That one poster has been claiming to have received minis, tracking numbers, etc. for  some time now.

Ahh bollocks. Lame that they're trolling. But whatever, I'll still cheer the legit firsts even if it isn't me.

You know what you'll get pictures of when mine arrives, right?

DRAGON ON THE SHIP.

Seriously the only reason I decided to go for the ship is so that I can put my bearded dragon on it and go RAWR RAWR.

It would be pretty cool to paint the ship up in herp friendly paint and do an enclosure for your beardy with a pirate ship half buried in the sand (though I suspect the masts would get bendy under the basking lamps).

(I want a beardy so bad but my wife is not having it.)

I actually think it would be quite funny that the AU will have first claim on their mini haul.  I have no dog in the argument to be honest, as I don't even try to get first wave anymore.  It was fun when I thought it mattered but since then I just lock when I think I can get enough mini's to find it worth it.  Everything else will just come as it may.

I do want someone to do an amazing paint job on something awesome before US shipping starts though.  That would be quite funny.  Of course I am a bit of a troll and find it amusing when people are upset about nothing.

A small but creative series of Garden Gnome miniatures by sculptor Tom Mason. Search for his name in the Reaper figure finder and you'll see some of his other work.

“The Gnome Guard” expands on the world of “The Adventures of Little Knife and Kronan” & ”The Goblin Menace” by introducing the stalwart guards of the garden.

One of the world’s most timeless lawn decorations can now come to life on your tabletop. Whether you need comparably adorable force to face off against other pint-sized foes, or you’re just obsessed with garden gnomes, these miniatures will make a great addition to any collection.

I have a few preview gnomes on my painting workbench. They are great! Small, simple, metal, easy to paint, but full of personality. [/unsolicited review]

Another “large collection of miniatures” kickstarters, reminiscent of the recent Blacklist Games Fantasy kickstarters.

I am tempted, even though it covers a lot of things we already have.

Right on the heels of their last shipped campaign, Midlam Miniatures is back. After several years of halflings, the gnomes are back!
