So I wonder in theory if it’s better to tell or not tell what is missing?  It would kind of set up expectations as to when you might start getting your items, but the world of Kickstarter seems to be so weirdly fickle, to give that information would make some people happy but other people not, especially when they know they may be part of a potential delay.  I also wonder if they pushed it out to the 28th in the hopes that that last container may yet show up by then.  Whatever they do or don’t do, I don’t envy you folks at Reaper with the need of satiating the ravenous hounds around you.

 

On another note, am I the only one for whom the biggest thing I’m looking forward to is receiving the set of village folk (as to not say village people)?  I ended up getting quite a lot of stuff relatively speaking for my poor hobby budget, but if I would have gotten nothing else, I think I would have gotten that little set of happy villagers.

Have they said how they're dealing with the Canadian portion of pledges? In Bones IV they split them off and shipped them up first. Holding all of Canada's orders until that can be done, or partial, or as per wave order like the US?

I'm curious about this as well, as it seemed to please a lot of Canadians.  Doubly so since most orders arrived over a few days across the entire country...

Eh, IIRC that kinda let to a lot of "just leave missing item X out, if that's holding up my order" comments and probably e-mails last time. 

Maybe they'll also have some of each/most to start but will run out and the container has the reinforcements for those items? We'll see soon I guess.

I'm still hoping the UK hub will start around that time, too. They got one container this week, next container already in customs and estimated a week each to unload. But no idea how much back-up they still have at the UK customs offices.

Just remember if your order is held up not to let other people being happy impact your happiness negatively. That's no way to live, and will turn you into a petty person.

My understanding, which may be outdated and/or subject to change, is that Canadian orders will be processed as a group so that they can be sent as a pallet (or multiple, if needed).  This will be shipped to a postal hub of some sort, which may be UPS or UPS/Canada Post (i.e. Purolator), and then broken up for shipping to end points from there.   UPS operates within Canada as its own entity now, but also sometimes subcontracts to Purolator et al. so I'm not even sure if Reaper will know what happens on that end.  I expect that this hub will likely be in the vicinity of Toronto.  

 

AFAIK, no information has been given as to where in fulfillment Canadian fulfillment will fall.  It might be early like last time, might be in the middle, might be in the end.  It's probably going to be subject to the missing items delays, if any, since all of our stuff pretty much must go onto a single pallet.  

 

If I get any information that's more clear on this, I'll post it in the thread.  I think at the moment there are too many moving parts to make a certain determination.

 

 

Edit to update:  Canadian orders will not be batch-processed this time, they'll be sent out individually direct by UPS as part of the regular fulfillment for US & Americas.

I just want to know what is going to hold up orders to temper my expectations. I'd rather know now if my order may be held up or not. I'm wave 1 and finally starting my in person pirate campaign June 27th. Some knowledge of when I can expect my order to be sent out would be very helpful for planning purposes.

I am wave 1… the only power up I got was the henchwomen… 😞

 

if some one else gets their minis before me because of the henchwomen… those 

henchwomem will get all the worst npc jobs in my pathfinder game! They will get eaten by dragons, get kidnapped and suffer abuse thst only the pc’s can save them from! They will rue the day that delayed my order…

I have no information about what may or may not be among the missing items.  But I'll bring it up and see if there is more information that can be revealed.

I don't remember what I pledged for and I'm not going to worry about it.  It will get here when it's time. 

 

Frankly, I'm surprised they're going to start shipping with backordered product, after the mess it was last time.

I'm not too worried; seems likely mine will be among the Delayed, but ... eh. Excrement occurs, y'know?

I'm not actually sure what I'd do with myself if a Bones Kickstarter showed up as scheduled, to be honest. ^^;

 

I admit to really really wanting to hold the new dragons, though. I think I'm currently looking forward to having those in hand most.

I think Reaper beginning fulfillment for orders that aren’t missing stuff, they don’t yet have, is a great idea. Crank ‘em out and clear some room in the warehouse, ultimately less orders to fulfill later. If my order is on hold due to missing stock, so be it. My life doesn’t revolve around some plastic toys arriving sooner rather than later.

Not sure if this was just in regards to US containers, I imagine not, but on last nights reaper live Ron said the containers held ALL missing pieces of certain items. GITD ship and modern scenic as well as mostly “power up” rewards.
