Here we go! Twitch just went live and they are up to 550 shipments.

So they did roughly 550 orders in the first 24 hours. Someone on discord, who is wave 2, got his shipping notification. That means roughly half of Wave 1 has had their shipments delayed.

This is going to get weird fast then. But I'm wave 2 and I don't think I backed any of the missing items so soonish sounds pretty cool.

Suddenly news on the AU and UK hubs went quiet and disappeared into limbo and then the US hub miraculously starts shipping even though stuff is not all there.

 

If Reaper had said from the beginning that nothing would ship until the US hub was ready then I'd be fair enough......as it is I feel this is a joke, deliberately holding up other countries deliveries just because some americans might complain about not being first in line.

 

Unless there's been a serious change in philosophy at Reaper this is unlikely. In previous Kickstarter fulfillments they've gone as far as shipping all RoW orders before all stateside orders just to give them a headstart on shipping. I'd guess there's something more to it than these theoretical distinctly American fragile fee-fees.

I just hope everyone stays well hydrated and takes proper rests. On twitch yesterday they said the warehouse doesn't have AC, which sounds terrible in the Texan heat right now ...

I think Reaper just honestly thought things wouldn’t be held up in shipping as long as they’ve been. 

This is crucial to remember. I work for a larger company than Reaper and dealing with vendors is a PITA. I'm wave 1 ghost ship and bummed to have to wait. BUT at a certain point Reapers great customer service has to give way basic business realities.

Yeah... the Kickstarter went live almost two years ago now.  It's amazing how much emphasis people put on waves, when it's really probably just a matter of a couple days.

Are they going to be using the Tracker that shows how many packages, and what wave they are on?.  I keep checking the old link, and it doesn't seem to be updated yet. Or is there a new link?

It's been helpful to see this much activity on this chat again now that the shipping has started.  Nice to know some already have tracking, others are watching and posting updates, and overall it's enthused again.  

 

For anyone interested, there's a separate post for anyone interested in doing group painting once we all have our b5 stock.  Nice way to keep some of us motivated to chew through some of these minis we'll all be hoarding shortly.

I can't recall if I was delayed last time or not.  I think I was?  It feels as though I'm "tail end charlie" on a LOT of Kickstarters.  All the European ones I'm in right now are finishing shipping to EU/England and now getting around to the US side.  In the past, if I've had one or two items, the KS ships the big orders first. If I order a large variety of stuff, they ship the small orders first.  Sigh...

Hmmm. So I am wave 1. Backer 614. I don’t have any of the items on the delay list… but have not received tracking… but a wave 2 has? That’s not worrying at all…
