A Mini flinging Trebuchet was tried in Scrapheap Challenge Season 5 episode 12. An impressive machine, shame it broke.

I've always decided that patience is a virtue....as long as I'm not the one waiting.

 

I was wave 1, but I have 3 out of the 5 items on the wayward container....wasn't Meatloaf that said 3 out of 5 ain't bad (or something like that 🙂

 

I shall continue with: "Container Watch 2021, the Glowing Undead Pirate Ship Edition".

 

Am i a little frustrated...yes.  Am I  little preturbed....yes.   But if receiving my 600+ Reaper Bones a little late, during a global pandemic is the worst this that happens to me this summer.  It is still a pretty damn good summer.

 

My only thing is "REAPER WAREHOUSE MINIONS........HYDRATE!!!!!!"

We do have an empty freezer behind our bar. I never considered using it to store minis. 

I was freezing my preassemble Temple Dragon from Bones 4 in an attempt to break the glue bond between dragon and pillar he was standing on.   After I dropped and broke him, I ordered two more figuring I'd break at least one more trying again, and was overjoyed to discover they come unassembled for retail.

Sorry, couldn't resist. I guess USPS is pretty buried by Reaper in Denton right now. I got my shipping notice from Reaper with tracking number, but USPS has never updated it. Can I whine like the FB brats?

If that is the one I think it is (will have to look it up sometime, then my two arrived unassembled.  Nice little sculpt.

Have they said if they're actually shipping the ship today? It sure seems like it on the stream, at least the people with the little tubs all turn in a long rectangular package together with their plastic tubs at the labeling station.

That's something I've never tried to do.  Have you found that the freezing technique worked in other instances?

Last update I saw stated that they had gotten some out yesterday, but UPS didn't like the way they were packed so they stopped and re-formatted.  Today is supposed to be shipping ships speedily.

Yup I mostly agree with you ... BUT the waves unintentionally or not  re a marketing tool for people to buy in early (and not forget or change ones mind) there is no discount so the only benefit is  being first in line. OK business reasons.. sound business reasons... and the waves just mean you are ahead of similar orders. I think they have a reason to be disappointed  and the comments on KS is the place to rant. Myself ?  I'm happy someone else is getting stuff. No Shcadenfreude here. I'll wait without complaint... what else can I do? 

 

But maybe just maybe, after 2 KS in a row... we need to rethink "the earlier you pledge, the earlier you receive". Not Reaper... US, as consumers.

Yeah, that's kinda what I meant the other day.  

 

Basically, it's a FOMO machine.  It's been almost two years since the KS launched, but these last few weeks feel the longest for sure.  I get that.  But if you can manage to not worry about others, I think you'll be a lot happier.

 

That's not to say this situation doesn't stink.  I know my wave is getting their packages as soon as today or tomorrow.  Rune Wights and Dragonborn knocked me out of that, and it's frustrating.  I really wish that wasn't the case.  But eh, what can ya do?
