Reaper Bones 5: Enthusiasm and Commentary thread

Hopefully the next goal will be the oriental dragon [add on please] I am wondering if the next two locations will be more oriental goods [the larger temple] and possibly Atlantis , underwater/nautical, possibly a light house?

i know we were initially told to not take any map features as a indicator of something, though i also wonder if they then tweaked it a bit so that it was. Guess we'll see when we reach the dragon icon!

i'm hoping it's an add on! :D

Me too. Putting something like that in an expansion would be silly.

I wonder if they’re going to have a terrain expansion in this one again. But maybe the one in bones 4 was because they had all those Conan sculpts.

Is there a Reaper Live tonight?  I hope any of you who can watch tell them they need to really improve communication!

I believe that there is.  On the last 2 streams they kept telling people that they should ask certain questions during Reaper Live.

Is it really furry art if they have scales instead?

While there's still technically a decent sized "war" between flurries, scales, dragons, therians, were, and several other sects, most of them called a proper truce ages ago.  A lot of that artwork winds up being lumped under "furry art" in order for better/more exposure, for better ror worse.

Childhood?  You're the only Furry I know.

*coughs* There's a few furs on the forum, I'd suspect.

Or am I misreading that due to not knowing stuff from the con?

If you have to shave your back, does that count? Asking for a friend...

Pizza Dragon is going to make a great BBEG for Wendy's new TTRPG

I haven't said it, but I'm very grateful they are putting that one in the kickstarter. Even if it was add-on (which it's not), it still beats "treasure-hunting" for it via Pizza Dice.

Was that a thing in the past? This is the first KS for Reaper I've backed and kept up on.

Thanks!

@cosxcam

There is a special metal one (I think it's the same sculpt) inside the package of the Pizza Dungeon dice when they go retail. Inside is the 7 pc rpg dice set + a random color Dice adventurer (see Bones 4 for pics) but some will contain the metal dragon. It's a chase piece. I'm not one for chase pieces. Especially, since I'm a Chessex brand only dice user.

I barely received my last campaign pledge from Midlam that already it has something that caught my interest.

Sisters of the Kraken Cult. The female counterparts of the previous "Onslaught of the Cult of the Kraken Lord" and "Cultists of the Kraken Lord". (I now have some regret of not getting it)

What's also interesting is the optional add-on of fish folk.

Brinewind is going to have some interesting neighbors.

I'm happy to see they've launched a 2nd KS, as I missed out on the first one.
Here's the blurb from the Kickstarter, which is live and already funded here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/292543184/wallhalla-2/description

Hey, everyone! We're Ill Gotten Games, and we're back for another round of Wallhalla, the modular, 3d printable miniature display shelves!
We're kicking this new series off with a Dangerous Dungeon theme that comes in two available styles:

Classic: (left) the original format found in Series 1, optimized for miniature display. Classic shelf units also include versions with recesses for standard round bases (20mm, 25mm, 32mm, 40mm, 50mm, 60mm, and 70mm).
Wall Sprawl: a new, terrain-style take that lets you build vertical dungeons and play on your wall space! (It works great as a display as well, especially if you want even more of a diorama look.)
Both of these sets are 100% compatible with one another and with any of the sets from Series 1. This campaign is for digital STL files, not finished, physical products, and you'll need access to a 3d printer to make them. All of our Wallhalla designs:
print 100% support free and are optimized for FDM machines!
assemble with durable, built-in slide-fit connectors, and don't require glue!
can be configured (and reconfigured) into whatever build suits your fancy!
      are easy to paint!

A new Kickstarter that may otherwise go under your radar.

      Very entertaining 70’s/80’s nostalgia aesthetics.
