I wonder if the cannons for the ship will be available separately. If the price was something like 5 for about 10 AUD then they would be fun for some coastal fortifications.

it would be great if they did. I had been clamoring for them to do it in the original pm. Both to fill out the pirate ship, but also to arm all my play mobile ships. I’m not sure what the reason for not including them as a power up item was. But I would add them if they were made available.

I think by now, people shouldn't even worry about Waves as they really haven't been used since Reaper put them into the KSes. I'm a US Wave 1, early pledge manger inputter. I also have close to $1,000 dollars tied up in this one (my most of any KS). I also have everything but the busts & Nathavarr (as I had it from a previous Bones KS, I didn't see the need for anther) from the delayed container. I have a regular ship, I didn't get a GiTD one, as I'm not into GiTD gimmick + I don't think I've ever DM/GM'ed a game in the dark, so again not needed.

While recent years some of the stuff, Reaper has done, I haven't been happy with, but I know they are a great company & they will get my toys to me. Right now, I'm more concerned about ReaperCon, then the KS. With fulfillment happening only a couple months before RCon happens, I just hope they have enough hands to get everything ready for that.

Again, it'll get here when it gets here. I know Reaper is good for it.

I wonder if they should do away with waves for Bones 6.

they do create a false sense, especially if you are a new bones backer. Being wave 1 implies that you are first served and prompts people to back immediately instead of fence sitting.., “there are only 4 slots left on wave 4… if I don’t back now I will have to wait til wave 5!”

but.., then this turns out not to be true. You are wave 1, all the items in your order are in house. But then you see people in lower waves getting there things and enjoying their items, despite them literally waiting until the last day and being wave 13. It does have the possibility To make people feel like their efforts were pointless and the wave thing they were told about was not true,

-shrug- I have been wave 1 each time waves were offered. And each time I am some how delayed. It is annoying. And I am aware going in that wave 1 doesn’t reslly mean anything. But I imagine those who don’t know that going in, probably feel stronger.

if this isn’t actually the case, don’t do waves. State that Shipping is whatever is easiest when stuff comes, and you will get your stuff dependent on luck and what comes in. Then no one will have any expectations and no one can say they were lied to…

I mean it’s great that some people have plenty of stuff to do and don’t care when their orders come in. Really those people should not be wave 1 anyway. But not everyone is like that, and being told you are #1 when shipping comes but being delayed until after the last of the last #wave 13 can be frustrating.

on a side note. My tracking has mine out for delivery!

Not sure how much the waves really inspire people to not sit on the fence, either.  I pledged almost immediately when the KS went live, and ended up Wave 5.

There are enough people willing and eager to join the Reaper KS events that anyone on the fence is likely to be in the 20s of the waves regardless on what they actually decide, given how quickly they fill up.  The earlier waves are pretty much taken up by ultra-eager people to begin with.

I don't know if tiered rewards are even necessary to begin with, but even something as simple as an extra bottle of paint or a promotional mini could be plenty to motivate people into different tiers.  Maybe even instead of tiers clearly being better than one another, instead each tier could include a different promotional mini as a mascot, so each "wave" had an almost sense of community amongst each backer (and without shipping being determined by waves, hopefully that sense of community wouldn't fall into frustrated tribalism).

They're good for it, but they don't always do a good job with it.

Just announced on the Twitch stream, they've packed as many orders as they can with what product they have.  Still waiting on the last container.  Not sure what the plan is at this point, and they're going to pull the live stream when Anne goes on at 11:30.

That seems like a LOT of us have been delayed by the one container, considering it took only one week to do what they could without those items.

Honestly, I'm kinda at the point where it's pretty laughable for me to put money into a reopened Pledge Manager right now.

Like, I'm not sure when I'm even gonna get the original fulfillment that I pledged nearly two years ago- I definitely don't have much confidence in making a new pledge.

And for the peanut gallery, I know Reaper is doing their best in a difficult global situation.  But "it'll get here when it gets here" isn't really as satisfying as it used to be, especially when some people have had their stuff for almost a week now.

It is definitely a frustrating situation. My only word of hope is that you will get your order and the minis are great.

Heh no worries here. I ordered roof racks for my Jeep Gladiator back in November. Supposed to have been stateside within 10 days and to me within 2 weeks. Now they're hoping to have them stateside by August. International shipping is a mess. And even if the container is in California it still should be here sooner than later.

My order arrived at lunch. It was pretty small. I got the pirate ship, the ghoul pit, 4x ravenhome, the kid heroes, the slutty guy and girl demons, the hench women and the extra Halloween.

All of the minis except the pirate ship were in a small box. The pirate ship (which I haven’t opened yet) in a big box by itself.

I really love the ravenhome and charnel pit terrain. The demons are fun and I like the kid heroes.

Most of the kid heroes, demons and most of the hench women are one piece or otherwise preassembled, same with the ghouls and vampires… just a couple that require assembly.

wish I had gotten more. Come on open pledge manager…!

Thats is the question Do the waves drive people to pledge and not wait and perhaps miss their 48Hr email??? Im not sure. I DO like the idea of a limited mini for wave 1, BUT wave one is usually gone in minutes and there is no real need. Maybe an early bird mini? Anyone gets in the first 72 hours gets a limited mini?

On the other hand Reaper makes  grosses $$$ millions each KS, so why fix whats not broken?

i wouldn't like a exclusive mini for wave 1, for this kickstarter i camped that page and still couldnt get wave 1, ending up in wave 2
