My understanding at this time is that you can log into the pledge manager and use your previously registered account if you are one of the 2,000 backers that never closed out your pledge. Unconfirmed: If your kickstarter order has already shipped to you, your order is complete in the system and so you may be able to log in with your already existing account and start a new order. If you are still waiting for your original order, then your account is not complete in the system and you may need to register with a new email account. If you have already done this, then you have not done anything wrong. The pledge manager order is completely separate from your original kickstarter order and will ship separately, so as long as your shipping information is correct, it is not a problem to have created a new "late backer" account. If you would like to wait for official confirmation, there's nothing wrong with waiting. The 5.5 pledge manager will be open for orders for 90 days, it will not hurt anything to wait a few days. In theory I was quite relaxed about waiting a bit for more minis, but somehow, once shipping starts, it's a little uncomfortable to be waiting for yours. I do hope this is the case, as my order shipped a while back but currently says my account is locked or something to that effect.
