We are getting confirmation about the 5.5 pledge manager.

 

My understanding at this time is that you can log into the pledge manager and use your previously registered account if you are one of the 2,000 backers that never closed out your pledge.

 

Unconfirmed: If your kickstarter order has already shipped to you, your order is complete in the system and so you may be able to log in with your already existing account and start a new order.

 

If you are still waiting for your original order, then your account is not complete in the system and you may need to register with a new email account. If you have already done this, then you have not done anything wrong. The pledge manager order is completely separate from your original kickstarter order and will ship separately, so as long as your shipping information is correct, it is not a problem to have created a new "late backer" account.

 

If you would like to wait for official confirmation, there's nothing wrong with waiting. The 5.5 pledge manager will be open for orders for 90 days, it will not hurt anything to wait a few days.

I just got a tracking email! I guess we lucked into one of the retail Dragonfolk. I am *really* glad the container will be there soon though.

Facebook is NOT an appropriate place as the only spot to put the info.  Not everyone has an account, and better yet good luck getting your posts out to more than 40% of those who actually follow you... 

To be fair, Reaper was answering someone else's question on Facebook, but the information had yet to trickle down to other outlets.

ETA: They ran out of Shavynra, but they have confirmed that there are additional of that item on the last container. 

 

ALSO, there is limited stock of the retail rune wights and dragonfolk so it is possible that they will burn through that stock.

Yep.  My pledge which I think was just waiting for RingWraiths just got a shipping notice.  In theory I was quite relaxed about waiting a bit for  more minis, but somehow, once shipping starts, it's a little uncomfortable to be waiting for yours.

On a different topic, every time I see someone posting on FB about "where's my stuff, I don't have a missing item", I have to wonder if they're one of the two thousand who didn't close out their pledge properly in the pledge manager 

And then I wonder how many of those two thousand people are going to complain that the item they really wanted is no longer a part of the pledge manager.

Definitely possible, though it does seem like a ton of stuff isn't shipped yet.

Last I checked that info hadn't been posted on Kickstarter, the email list (that they haven't really used for a while), or the forums.

I do hope this is the case, as my order shipped a while back but currently says my account is locked or something to that effect. 

 

As for waiting not hurting, if there's limited stock of something waiting may potentially cause you to miss out on something if it's turned off.

The 5.5 pledge manager is not Reaper selling off extra stock that they only have limited quantities of, it is them putting in a new order for the items, that's why you have 90 days to order, then an expected additional 90 days prior to expected delivery.

Shame, I can't even regret getting that dragon- it's one of the pieces I'm looking most forward to out of the whole thing.

They need to make MOQs on all these 5.5 items, amirite? (Minimum Order Quantities)
