More news as we get it! Reaper" Woo-hoo! Time to start getting excited. I've already cleaned out a bunch of storage space for my haul. I hung 2 new shelves in my tiny hobby space in order to put minis I want to paint first up on display so I don't forget about them. And I doubled my amount of paint storage space and stocked up on some colors I always use in anticipation of painting a whole bunch of stuff. I've even bought a few tubes of superglue for all the assembly I'm going to be doing. Really looking forward to these though. I've been feeling a little uninspired by the minis I have on hand for the last few months. This should really get the creative juices flowing again.

(Minimum Order Quantities) Yes, possibly, but again, I am saying waiting "a few days" will not harm anything. They are not going to turn off any items within the first couple of weeks just because people didn't immediately order them.

I don't really blame Reaper for waiting, since the container being so late seems to be something completely out of their control. Choosing to do this is a good image for the company. Doesn't really affect me, but it does show how different Reaper is from many of the failed/partially failed kickstarters and why they can still keep people interested in Bones Kickstarters (Even if communication can still be improved a lot). For me it winds up being a worst case. A week earlier or later and I'm probably ok. I have to scramble to create a ups account. Figure out how to link the tracking and pay online to reduce the chance that I wont be able get to a depot any reasonable time because I'm going to have to rely on my wife taking time off work to drive me because I'll be in the middle of porch renos and from past experience they won't try to deliver even with special efforts made by us. Just really frustrating. I'm going to be furious if stuff gets sent back because of this. Mail depot is walking distance for me. I have zero clue about UPS. This is costing me so much more in $$ and hassle without as much as a choice.

Maybe @Guindyloo or @Reaper_Jon can confirm this. I think I read on some platform that Reaper can hold an order for later if you can't take delivery now. If your package is already on the way, I'm sorry this won't help you, but that info could help others. 1
lexomatic
In my case part of the problem was I disnt know when porch renos were starting. Bit also a complete distrust of UPS or any person following delivery instructions that I already set up with Reaper or the logistics of someone waiting while I bring a toddler to be minded then walk around the house to pay if I can't figure stuff out in advance. I have minutes a day to myself with lots of stuff backlogged so figuring out new stuff like this is beyond inconvenience. I often only get to use a computer once a week. Couriers are garbage in canada. Some only deliver once with no notice and of you aren't there emand you go to some ridiculous place that requires a can amd costs more than the delivery to get to. Reaper's done as much as within their power after switching delivery method, but that's basically a dealbreaker for me with future kickstarters. The good news is that it does seem easy so far. I just having this much contact with UPS to make it functional. Edited July 7, 2021 by lexomatic 2

Mine’s very mushy with only the slightest nubbins for ears. Before I go to help@reaper with it, I wanted to make sure it wasn’t that way in all of them. It’s a very small bit, and sharp detail and full size ears might not have been possible. I got two copies of Brinewind and both of my cats were about as detailed that yours. It's extra frustrating since it's what I was most looking forward to in Brinewind and I've been looking forward to almost everything in Brinewind.

It’s not a translucence issue, it’s simply details that aren’t there. Primer sadly will not add ears back on. The more I think about it, if it’s a chronic problem in all of them, the more I think adding a different cat is the best answer. Like one from the Crazy Cat Lady figure. turbocooler
I guess I keep loosing the shipping lottery. I just quadrupled checked, All I was missing was Rune Wights but maybe they stopped shipping retail boxes given the container will arrive on Saturday. I'd rather have a good cast of the pieces, as shown tauntingly on the side of the Brinewind box, but if they don't exist I guess I'll have to settle for putting a good kitty on there instead.

The thought of troll with a little pet cat was just too cute. :) I’m afraid if the cat were to jump away, the figure would be much the less for it.
