I guess I keep loosing the shipping lottery.  I just quadrupled checked, All I was missing was Rune Wights but maybe they stopped shipping retail boxes given the container will arrive on Saturday.

I think they only rolled half-a-day, so it is possible that they will get to yours tomorrow.

(Edit: The counter moved from 7190 shipped to 7556 shipped when the stream ended Wednesday.

366

…had gone past the counter when the stream ended but they might have carried on a bit afterward.)

I don't know about @Fnordlover ‘s two pieces, but primer isn’t going to help mine. It’s not a translucence issue, it’s simply details that aren’t there. Primer sadly will not add ears back on.

The more I think about it, if it’s a chronic problem in all of them, the more I think adding a different cat is the best answer. Like one from the Crazy Cat Lady figure.

Assume it is a hella fluffy cat whose fluff obscures detail? Some cats are kinda blob shape anyway ;)

Thank you for the reply, I am not upset.  I can wait.

I understand what you are saying. But personally, given that this is a tiny detail on a cart that we learnt about during the pledge manager, I always considered it a neat little easter egg.
From the picture I can recognise it as a sitting cat. It's enough for me. True, I am disappointed it doesn't seem to have bones black detail level. In the end there is enough there that a good paint job will be enough. I am more annoyed at the location and size of the mold line in the picture. But even then that is not too much of an issue.
I will wait until I get the figure. It may be that the zoomed in picture is giving me the wrong idea.

I am curious how the needle of the sailmaker turned out.

Fun [?] with numbers:

18,587 = total backers

2,000 = backers who never locked in an address to send things to (I have yet to hear an exact number).

1,500 = Professor Pendrake's Scientifical Wild Acre Guess at the number of OZ or Asia backers (being fulfilled out of Aetherworks.)

2,500 = Professor Pendrake's SWAG at the number of UK and EU backers (to be shipped out of Nottingham).

7,556 = The last seen total number of orders shipped out from TX, visible on the Wednesday Fulfillment Stream (and it is likely it went a bit higher if they kept going up to lunchtime).

Subtracting all the red numbers from the starting total brings it down to….

5031 = approximate orders remaining to be dispatched out of Denton Texas. (As of Thursday morning July 8 at zero dark thirty.)

Big Fat Disclaimer :: [ !! ] :: this is just me doing guesswork, and it is totally not-official, and only the underlined numbers were in any way real data.

Also, I went back and stuck a picture of a fire giant in my post that failed, (for anybody that wants another picture).

Yep.  My pledge which I think was just waiting for RingWraiths just got a shipping notice.  In theory I was quite relaxed about waiting a bit for  more minis, but somehow, once shipping starts, it's a little uncomfortable to be waiting for yours.

[edit] Wave 2, FYI

I am Wave 1 with only 1x Dragonfolk and 2x Rune Wrights on the missing list.... no email for me 😞

They only did 4-500 orders on Wednesday, it is very possible you were number 537 give it a day or two.

I‘d say probably some more Europeans. And shouldn’t you add late pledges? Those aren’t in the number in the KS?!

Same here, except Wights only 1x.

I guess we play the waiting game some more 🤗

Maybe I should. But I have never heard anybody give so much as a hint about how many of those there were. Even a SWAG has to have something to go on.

(I would not be surprised if UK/EU was 3500. Edit)

I was thinking the same thing.  I've had a fluffy cat with stubby ears.

I'm gonna paint it as a deceptively cute cat that gets in lots of fights with bigger creatures. It's the body guard,  and missing ears from scarring.

I locked in my first order within 10 minutes of the pledge manager being active, I would have thought that would put me near the front of the line the way they've said they do things. 🤷‍♂️

I'm happy we finally have some news on scheduled movement for the container. Hopefully that doesn't hit any snags.

I was going to say the ogre calls the cat Nibbles. And well, you can image what has happened to the ears.

From the KS:

You're undercounting the Denton origin shipments by at least 1k based on the KS numbers alone.

For late backers, I believe Ed or Dave once said that they account for 10% or more of the shipments.  I seem to recall them saying that in one of the Twitch streams that they did during the B5 campaign.   I could be wrong, though.

That would mean the ogre's name is Mike Tyson?
