And they are, to the best of their ability without having to stop everything to get it done. This isn't something they can just flip a switch and say "it's perfectly in exactly laid out Waves now!". The system they have is SUPPOSED to do that for them, but what is the saying?

I guess I will chime in here with a wall of text.

 

I have supported all 5 Bones campaigns and seen fulfillment improve (IMO) with each one. Covid gave the shipping industry a knockdown suckerpunch this time around, but I have faith that Reaper will do their best to handle the situation in a fashion that is best for the majority of backers.

 

Ipersonally started with a wave 5 slot, due to us backers breaking Kickstarter. I was logged in at 1100 when it went live and could not get my pledge to process until almost 11:30. Over the course of the campaign I camped the Kickstarter and sniped a wave 3, then a wave 2, and finally a wave 1 slot. So I would say I put some effort into getting a wave one slot.

 

Unfortunately, I had 2 of the four "Items of Doom" (Dragonfolk and Rune Wights) on my order, so I am going to be waiting now. Disappointing to say the least.

 

Of course, the one I really feel for is the UPS carrier who will be bringing that massive (130$ in shipping) order up to my third floor apartment. 

 

TL:DR I've waited this long, I can wait a little longer.

Did 1024 in the core set change from sword and dagger to sword and shield, or did my friend just get the wrong pieces -- he just posted this in our discord:

I think he comes with a shield option. Pretty sure he still has the dagger (saw other pictures from someone else), but could be misremembering.

He comes with dagger and shield hands, both are on the same sprue.

I am just glad that the two years of waiting for more dragons is nearly over.

I was very relieved to hear that the containers for the UK had arrived here, or at least weren't stuck on the Ever Given in the Suez Canal, because that would have been a major case of disappointment as the rest of the World were gettign and displaying their goodies. I have been in Bones Kickstarters since Bones 1 and have always found the waiting to be tolerably annoying, but what do I expect when there were and are an astonishing number of people backing each kickstarter. My perception is that the communications from Reaper haven't been as good as previous Bones kickstarters. But maybe that is just rosy tinted hind-sight, since Bones 1 was what 2010 (?) and shipped in 2012 (?). Whatever the exact dates that was pretty amazing to see how it was all shipping out, especially as they shiiped everything from the US then.

 

Just my two pounds worth (2 pennies isn't worth much now). I am waiting with anticipation, since not much mention of UK or Europe recently.

Justin just made a little announcement at the end of the morning stream (2:31:30) that Reaper reset the order system yesterday, which should have reordered the fulfillment printouts going forward, so things should now be in their intended order. He said there were A LOT of ship orders so far today.

I was in for Bones IV and this one. I think their communication has improved to an extent, and they are reaching larger audiences with their alerts. Mixed areas of broadcasting is annoying, but the info is getting out. It isn't quite a substitute for a dedicated Communications Manager (or whatever title) though.

 

"tolerably annoying" is a good way to put it. Yeah, I want my loot. But I expected delivery "mid 2021" and despite the world's best efforts at ruining everything, that seems still on track.

Is UPS even going to tell me that a package is coming to me? After they failed to tell me about those legal documents, I don't particularly trust them. Not sure my loot will fit well on my bicycle if I have to go pick it up at the shop.
