Somebody asked when is the normal, usual Reaper Live on a Thursday?

Normally it is 6pm. But this Twitch channel is showing a static graphic that says they will fire it up at 4:30PM CST. That's ~35** minutes or so from now.

Best guess Dave and Jon starting off;  Ed and Ron taking over at 6.

(The clearly labeled speculation ^ of a Griffon. Not official Info.)

For the record ^ this guess was spot on. Just sayin'

something i drew many many many years ago   seems fitting

I totally agree with you in that those particular exaggerations are not very realistic in function. This was a challenging character/figure to create because I wanted her to read as feminine but als

The twitch stream just started and when it turned on there was a Colossal Tyrannosaurus on the table, and the guys, seemingly with mock innocence and embarrassment took it off the table...

No clue if that was a purposeful reveal, or if it is truly unrelated.

Educated guess: back in the day when Reaper was partnered with Collect-A (all those prepainted dinos), there was a large T Rex, about 3 ft long-ish that still resides at the facility. It was likely that piece.

The third map and current stretch goals just disappeared from the Kickstarter page, so I think we have an update incoming!!

Core set is also gone for me, so hopefully that is getting a much needed update as well.

I brought up the low-involvement issue as per Reaper responding to KS comments.  They directly addressed it, and said it is because they are doing the twitch streams now.  Take that for what it's worth.

Yeah... I do not support Twitch.  Maybe they should update through KS?  Can you hear the passive aggressive tone in text?

I think if the info was just formatted into an easily consumable way, twitch would be a good answer. Someone just needs to jot down notes of things to add to the FAQ.

Otherwise, it's a pretty easy way to generate additional income for them.

Unfortunate.

Some of us have jobs and can't show up for a twitch stream.

Some of us can do math and realize their 500 person twitch audience is a small fraction of their 5-figure backer pool.

Some of us don't feel the desire to sit through a 7 hour stream for a 5 word bit of news.

I know they're trying to prove to themselves that they don't need a dedicated PR guy. But this really feels like "we have Top Men on it" from the end of Raiders of the Lost Ark. Top Men, honest. That's why it's taking most of their upper management team to disseminate half as much information as one dedicated PR guy would be able to handle.

To be fair I dont think they will be doing the 7 hour stuff again...this one was only like 30 min.

I suspect this is right.  Here's a screen shot:

The Dire Cabbage was some joke that started in the Twitch stream.  I caught mention of it during Reaper Live a few weeks back, but it sounded like it had been going on a while.

I actually don't mind it; I'll use it as a mimic.  Though I just noticed the dino-tail they put on it... that's kind of odd.

I'll add it to my Plant Dragon and collection of smaller man-eating plants. Always  good surprise for the characters.

IDK, but it sure feels boring right now.

Feels half-elfed to me.  Reaper has done 4 kickstarters, and done them pretty well.  This time it feels like it's being run by amateurs.

How to make the Twitch Stream Better

1) Have a script

2) Make sure the script covers all the important points and has some detail

3) Follow the script

4) Make sure the script does not take more than ~1hr

5) Wrap up the last 5min of the stream with the important stuff everyone should know about for the KS for that segment based on the points in item 2

6) End stream and have another one at a later date

7) Start from 1 above

It is the rambling that I do not like -- there is no start middle or end -- it is like watching my dog every time he sees another squirrel in another direction.

I watch the replay on Youtube so I can skip ahead or just skip parts.

I’m trying to keep telling myself that it’s just the unexpected overachievement of the first day still having ripple effects. And I pray that in a day or two they find their stride and are able to operate like the well oiled Kickstarter machine we know and love.

They do have a script.  They read off bullet notes the entire time.

      Story
Wellcome to our biggest miniatures ever! Blood and Skulls ork rider is the largest and more detailed miniature in 70 mm scale that Nocturna models released in all of these years. This project is really monstruous and we need your help to fund it.
Take a look at all the figures in the campaign, all of them are in 70 mm scale. Blood and Skulls is 28 cm high!
        28 cm total size

I've bought everything this company has put out so far.  I'll probably pick up these two as well.  Really great figures based on classic artwork.

These two are both nude, so I can't show pictures here!

"The muses" is a range of miniatures offered by Golem Miniatures.
These 80 mm scale figures, in limited edition, will all come from realistic and oriental paintings of great painters of the nineteenth, a period that we greatly love.
During the fourth campaign "The muses", we had suggested that you submit ideas for the next muses. A vote had then been put in place to decide between the 27 muses that you had selected.
One muse dominated this vote: "La boîte à bijoux" painted by Guillaume Seignac.
To accompany it, a second muse has been chosen on the same theme: "human skin on animal skin". You will discover it below, hoping she inspires you! :)

During the third Muses campaign, we produced the magnificent Lady Godiva painted by John Collier, a famous English painter and one of the founders of the Royal Society of Portrait Painters.
Here is another of his works: "Lilith" painted in 1889.
Lilith is a mythical Hebrew and Biblical figure (Adam's first wife), whom some see as the very first portrayal of feminism in history.

      Story
I'm Adam Sadler, senior game designer at Blacklist Games, and I love miniatures. They are what got my brother Brady and me into the hobby back when we were teenagers. Whether we’re using them in roleplaying games, board games, or tabletop miniatures games, we love collecting, assembling, painting, and playing with them. While Blacklist Games has published several of our games that feature miniatures, they saw our passion could be used for the creation of a new division that would focus solely on miniatures and allow for company growth in parallel with creating great board games. With everyone at the company excited about the possibility of this new division, here we are to share it with you!
Blacklist Miniatures will focus entirely on producing high quality, highly detailed, pre-assembled plastic miniatures to be used in any type of game. Blacklist Miniatures: Fantasy Series 1, our first miniatures line, is not only a celebration of our love for miniatures, but also of all things fantasy.
With your support, this campaign will not only bring this project to life, but also open the door to other lines of miniatures in various genres and even new games to utilize them!

First time posting a KS thread.  Tribality is releasing a companion book to their previous KS "Seas of Vodari."  I thoroughly enjoyed the previous book and have been looking forward to this one.
As this is the first time I'm posting a KS thread, please feel free to let me know if I'm doing anything wrong.

I think that's enough for context.  The rest can be found on the KS page.
