DragonWyrm
Nice table! With the dark depths the most important thing is, you can now make a war party of sea giants. It should be easy enough to modify some of them to use the sword instead of the mast. Plus you could probably get one to hold two of the belt sharks on a leash instead of having them hang off his belt. 36 minutes ago, Christopher Mason said: I needed the 20 warg riders, as they are seen rather frequently in areas of my game world. I also needed lots of Kobolds for an upcoming Dragon lai For small wargs and goblins have you tied looking at the Dark Alliance 1/72 scale figure sets or do you think the orcs would be to small for being goblins?

If you're a truly Tolkien-obsessed geek you'll recognize it as Sindarin for Daughter of the Earth. Try not to feel too sorry for her...she's dreadfully spoiled. 🙂 Regarding the Table (yes, It refers to Itself with capital letters...and curses my dice rolls when I don't), It was crafted by Daniel Fisher from Hammered Game Tables. He does amazing work. The carved gates of Moria actually glow green in the dark. Each of the player stations has a scene from the trek through Moria woodburned into it. If you're in the market for a new table, his are amazing. The top leaves are removeable and reversible. The inside chamber can fit a double layer of dwarven forge terrain, and still have the leaves put back over it to protect/hide the scene. Paint them and then play with them...of course. 🙂 Honestly, I got multiple because I needed specific miniatures. I needed the 20 warg riders, as they are seen rather frequently in areas of my game world. I also needed lots of Kobolds for an upcoming Dragon lair. The sharks were a must have, as well as the sea ogres. Many of the figures I'll be looking to either give/trade away. Also, I fully intend to lure my daughter into the darkness of rpg games....and painting mermaids seems to be a good first step. 😉 You know that the individual pieces will come to retail right? I mean you don't have to buy full sets just for individual pieces. But more importantly, gorgeous table. Did the wife make you move it or were the show off pictures not in Its normal lair?

That way i'm not disappointed anymor. we're just last wave now to my mind, instead of in the first waves. i think even late backers are being pulled before ours? Or am i misremembering ah well I'm right there with you Siri. Now that the Bachelor party is over (it was an amazing adventure/day, BTW), I no longer really need the ship. I only really hope I get my order in time to have the option to paint my spider for ReaperCon.

Cranky Dog
Things are moving again! Reaper is back in action fulfilling orders. And I just saw a destination near where I live (more local Bonesheads!), and one from Brazil. I'd say my chances of getting a shipping notice this week are increasing. Sirithiliel
Wonder if they have the orders figured out, or if wave 1s and 2s are scrambled in / at the very end

So i was thinking about this, and how Wave order has become a joke. I was thinking that to manage expectations, Reaper still has to break up the pledge levels in some way, but how do you name them without either a) implying an order or b) having everyone assume theirs will ship first? Then it hit me - name the pledges for various factions, just like they have at Rcon and RVE Faction names like River Widows or Viceroy imply no order. Then, to get by the everyone asking when their stuff ships at the beginning of fulfillment, do a drawing on Reaper Live about 2-4 weeks before fulfillment where the faction shipping order is determined. 3

I can't say that I'm excited to begin the inventory process. Some of the dragons look smaller than I had hoped, but they should still work. Also none of the 10 Core Sets came with dice. Ultimately, though, I'm happy to have the goodies at last. Now to start the actual work.... Oh...for reference, the table is 4' x 8'. Are you.......are you starting a store? Actually, while I like so much from the Dark Depths expansion, the one thing I didn't like was the Sea Giant. It felt like the inspiration was more a Pirates of the Caribbean movie, rather than a D&D Sea Giant. Then again, I still play a mix of 1st and 2nd editions, where Sea Giants were human looking and not strangely misshapen monsters. Now, others probably think that figure is the bee's knees...but I'm just not there. I will be cutting off the sharks and adding to my collection though. Maybe I could even use them as a corrupted Sea Giant, defiled by the dark, Elder Sea Gods seeking to break free from their submerged prisons... The idea of using the Dark Alliance miniatures are interesting...but they lack the dog-faced look of Kobolds. I may be able to use them as a form of pygmy orc though.... 4 hours ago, dwarvenranger said: You know that the individual pieces will come to retail right? Yes, I knew they were coming to retail. While my main interest were in select pieces, I can find a use for many of them. Some I'll end up trading away, or gifting. As for the table's location, no. That was the initial pictures. I just moved, and haven't built my game room/workshop/garage yet. I ordered a metal building from General Steel, and they have a 24 week fabrication time. Once it's insulated and I throw in the mezzanine, I'll be able to get my gaming stuff out of the house and properly set up. 3 hours ago, Cranky Dog said: Why do I hear cackling, and the word "Mine!" echoing through the air. Either way, I fear for the world if she should decide to become a supervillain.
