Reaper Bones 5: Enthusiasm and Commentary thread

How absolutely sure are you that the pledgemanager has-had you counted as locked in?

There was a guy that posted on Reapers Facebook page 2? days ago. He was certain, absolutely  certain, he had locked in already. But it was offering him a pirate ship for just $100.

Just something to quadruple check.

And by it I meant PM 5.5

Yep. "Your Pledge Manager is locked in anticipation of shipping your selections. Please Read!....." Check order history, all good to go on that front. Have my confirmation emails verifying my pledges too.

I'm betting that 99% of the forumites with over 500 comments correctly locked in their pledges.

Seems like a fair bet.

Apartment life. They'd leave a note on the door and tell me to come pick it up. Not sure my bike will be able to handle it. >.>

Take a roll of duct tape with you and fashion a boat sized backpack for the ride back?

I have the "Your Pledge Manager is locked in anticipation of shipping your selections." screen, and have verified on the PM, money spent via bank statement, and emails on orders that all should be good on my end. And have been locked down for a long time on that front. I know it will get here, I trust Reaper on that front, just frustrated on getting a 'good wave position' to be stuck at the end of the line after a long series of circumstances where many were far outside of anyone control.

I do have a rack that I can attach stuff too, but this box will be BULKY. Plus a ship. I'm not sure my bungie cords can get the thing on. I could try...

PM says I'm locked. I placed my first order within hours of the pledge manager's opening, so there should be no ambiguity there.

"5.5" would be the re-opening though, wouldn't it? I haven't checked with that email, as it's unrelated to this.

Anyway, I just assumed they haven't gotten to me in the queue yet. I'm sure they'll reach me soon.

I have filed and cataloged every single order I’ve made in the PM. Every confirmation email is placed in a specific email folder. My spreadsheet of planned PM purchases was updated with the appropriate order number for each item every time I placed an order. There is no balance showing in my PM account, and LOTS of selections shown as paid for. I have paid the credit card bills generated by my PM purchases. I am 100% positive my orders were placed.

I was giving some thought to the large number of unclosed PM orders last week, and I think what caught so many backers this time is that Reaper opened a ‘preview pledge manager’ for a week or three before purchases could actually be made. People could register their account, go in, look around, even put stuff in their box, but they could not yet check out. That part wasn’t enabled for a couple weeks afterward. I’d wager a large number of the ‘2,000’ backers went in right away, put stuff in their cart, then stopped, because the site didn’t let them progress further. Then they never came back a few weeks later to actually complete the check-out process, because they remembered ‘filling out the PM.’

I'm Wave 1 too and still no email.  I figure it will happen when it happens.  I just hope there isn't a "We lost your order" glitch or something.

I am locked and loaded (locked it the day they said we could).

*GASP!* I just receive a shipping notices (plural). The claimed weight is 37.4lbs.

[Big brother mode] Just to annoy @Sirithiliel, I'm wave "whatever number you have +1". But officially, I'm Wave 2 Americas-Europe Not-UK.

Though since it's being shipped to my Canada Post PO Box, I wondering what strange journeys my packages will have, because I have little faith in it arriving on the claimed date of monday July 26th.

Hey hey! I got a UPS notification! Scheduled for the 23rd!

I'll sortof need to rearrange a little work I have to get done, but that's alright!

12lbs (ship I presume) and 38lbs. I think Bones IV was 35 or 36lbs total.

So.... I might not fit in this box, since the ship ships separately. That and I PUT ON LIKE FOUR POUNDS! I got bigger too! With more shoulder! Still gunna try.

Pixies, Wyrms, Demonicity – Three Mini Role-Playing Games

Three ready-for-adventure mini-game boxed sets for your RPG game night, featuring the Tri-Stat System used in BESM Fourth Edition RPG.

If you're looking for role-playing games that are concise enough to crack open and start playing right away, yet sufficiently robust and evocative to support longer campaign play as well, you've come to the right place.

Welcome to the Kickstarter for the first three Tri-Stat System Mini-Game Boxed Sets – a new line of compact and complete role-playing adventure games that are compatible with Dyskami Publishing's flagship BESM Fourth Edition anime and manga RPG. Tri-Stat System creator Mark MacKinnon has distilled and customised the complete system into distinct streamlined versions for each of the three adventure games – targeting their specific genres and background settings in easy-to-understand boxed sets.

Pixies, Wyrms, and Demonicity – it's time for your next great role-playing adventure!

Pixies, Wyrms, and Demonicity – These boxed set RPGs are games of adventure, exploration, battle, heroism, romance, and imagination. Yet unlike in a traditional board game, the possibilities for exploration and action in these role-playing game are endless.

Each of the three role-playing adventure games contains the following components:

a 32-page full-colour rulebook that gives your group everything you need to play, with sections on character abilities, magical spells/paranormal powers, weapons and equipment, enemy encounters, items and equipment, and guidelines for integrating the Tri-Stat System game with the compatible BESM Fourth Edition RPG
6 brief story scenarios so you can start playing adventures right away
6 pre-generated player character sheet handouts, with game stats and illustration
4 custom-etched dice specific to that boxed set

You can pledge for one, two, or all three of these boxed sets during the Kickstarter.

      ...

I know know nothing about these creators or the system, but I decided to back for Pixies entirely because of that picture of the corgi. 👀
