Also wave 2, also got 3 UPS notifications (the first two add up to the third so maybe it's just a artifact of how UPS does things?) and it is allegedly scheduled to be here tomorrow (plausible since it's only going across town).

 

After the roller coaster of highs and lows that was the last month of fulfillment I'm very hyped to actually dig in.

What really sucks is we're still waiting for our order and items from this kickstarter are already for sale on eBay.

From my own triple UPS notification, I have 37.4lbs, 25.7lbs and 11.7lbs listed.

 

I quickly realized that one of my notifications is the combined order of the other two and the exact weight of 25.7+11.7=37.4lbs.

 

Just like your 12+15 = 27lbs.

I have yet to have a Kickstarter creator "fail and bail" on me, but one (by Maxmini.eu) took 3 YEARS after the estimated fulfillment date, and required me to actually troll their FB page to get it. So Reaper being 3 months out after everything that has happened since late 2019 is actually pretty good. Disappointed that my stuff did not go out with the initial wave 1 orders, but after the hiccups in earlier Bones, I knew I was gambling with my "one of everything (almost)" order. Still it will be good to get my stubby little dwarven paws on my loot. I am honestly looking forward to the inventory and inspection process. Seriously.

Ah so my total is probably 27lbs. That does sound more reasonable to what I had ordered

That'll happen.  Saw it with the last one as well. Stores and people buy a bunch of extra and then start flipping it on the Bay LONG before any of it will get to retail.

 

In other news I, a Wave 2 backer, have received my tracking numbers. Confirmed in the PM.  As expected, the projected delivery is Friday!  When I will be out of town... and my wife will be home...  Oh dear...  "no, really dear.  I paid for all of this two year ago!  you gotta believe me!"   🤪😲☠️

I can tell you from experience that when shipping any sort of box 1 of X shipment via either FedEx or UPS, they always make the tracking number for Box 1 the primary tracking number.   Depending on various email notification settings by the shipper and recipient, this can mean multiple email notifications.

I also understand the Sea Giant not being the most interesting. Sometimes I wish that the sea giant was a Leviathan and that the bloated undead were octpuses. Ohh well, maybe next Bones we will have another sea expansion (We already got a swamp city, a port city and the deep sea expansions. We now need tropics, beach and the Abyss.)

[Big brother mode] Just to annoy @Sirithiliel, I'm wave "whatever number you have +1". But officially, I'm Wave 2 Americas-Europe Not-UK.

 

Though since it's being shipped to my Canada Post PO Box, I wondering what strange journeys my packages will have, because I have little faith in it arriving on the claimed date of monday July 26th. 

Hopefully yours doesn't bounce around in USPS's system for two weeks, and then CanadaPost goes "yeah, we're going to be eerily efficient" and it goes from Mississauga to Alberta in exactly two days...

Regarding goblins....it would depend on the origin of the species in your game. In my game, many of the humanoid races were created during the Great War, when the elves split into two Courts over how to deal with the humans, who had appeared on their shores a decade earlier. The Seelie elves, together with the dwarves, gnomes, and hobbits opted to guide the humans into a better relationship with the Land. The Unseelie elves decided a practical and immediate solution would be to simply cull the human race to a more manageable level...or entirely, even. During the War, the Unseelie Court delved into the darker magics and used captured opponents of multiple races to fashion an army of loyal troops that were easily replaced. Seelie elves to Orcs. Dwarves to Giants. Gnomes to Goblins. Hobbits to Kobolds. Humans were simply killed and then raised into undead servants.... It goes on from there. Too long and off topic for this particular board.
