Weekly Update on KS5
 

NA/SA: 100% pulling and shipping. Now we are processing S.O.D's (Short or damaged) and are working through those daily! 
 

UK/EU: Quote from our UK warehouse. updated 8/4/2021

"We're 80% done with Wave 1 -- by far the largest wave. Only about 150 more parcels to go. Overall we are 34% done. We're experiencing a bit of a problem with our shippers. We've had to use three separate carriers just to approach our demand, and we're exceeding their capacity every day. Unfortunately, they're very slow to increase our pickup frequency (I think they're still dealing with reductions from Covid-19). So, we can pick faster than we can ship, but I'm working hard to get all that sorted out."

 

AUS: 75% Updated 8/4.

It is with great sadness/excitement that I must formally announcement my involuntary expulsion from the No Email club. Formal notification was received early this morning and my rewards are currently under the protection of DPD with delivery due on Monday.

 

Stay positive my friends and do not lose hope! Today was always going to be a bittersweet day, but the end is in sight. I shall endeavor not to crow too much when I take charge of my box. However, I cannot promise that I won't post pictures of my cats in said box. Some things are inevitable, after all :poke:

And after 2+ hours in multiple hold queues this morning, it turns out someone (Reaper UK or Parcelforce UK) had neglected to put any of my contact info on the package, so Customs couldn't come after me for their cut and thus my goodies were just left on the shelf.

 

So if anyone else in the EU is wondering why delivery is taking so long, might be worth checking in with your local parcels depot.

 

(What exactly anyone was planning to do next if I hadn't had a spare rainy morning to ring call centre after call centre, I have no idea. The best Parcelforce email could manage was "a customer service agent will contact you in 3-4 days").

Since it seems that at least the vast majority of the ogre carts have blobcats (Blobcat familiars coming in Bones 6), I wonder if instead of asking for replacement carts and hoping against hope that they find well cast ones to send perhaps Reaper would consider sending me an Edna, Crazy Cat Lady figure. At least half of her cats would probably make excellent replacements for the cart blobcats. Would it be crazypants if I made the request?

Yeah, I can't see that happening. The ogre porter was a poor cast all around - cat was the least of the problems on mine. If they replaced yours with the Edna figure, they'd need to be doing that regularly for everyone, and she's pewter only. I'd suspect either this figure doesn't make it to retail, or perhaps they'd redo it before retail. But we get the Kickstarter version - for better or worse. Reaper will replace what they missed or broken and fixable pieces, but I'd not expect them to send a metal figure to replace a non-equivalent KS Bones piece. We signed up for a KS knowing that some would work and some may not.

 

More figures turned out well than didn't.

Yes, have to agree with Cyradis; it’s very much a if-they-do-it-for-one-they-have-to-do-it-for-everyone situation.  Which would be too expensive for them, and a logistical nightmare.

 

Our best bet is an Ogre Cart 0.2 at some point.  But more likely it will just join the list of figures that never see the light of day post Kickstarter.

As a matter of interest, does anybody have a full list of previous bones items that didn't make it to retail. I remember seeing a list somewhere for Bones 1 (had some noseless person if I remember correctly) but haven't seen siad list ofr other Bones KS.

nday.  So I shall have to bow out of the No Email club (which I hadn't realised that I had joined) and wish the remaining denizens of said club the best of luck in getting their goodies as soon as...
