Got my minis last week. Really happy with the casting of the Bones Black material. Definitely a big improvement in crispness compared to Bones White.

 

After seeing some painted mini pics, I’m wishing I got the Golem set. I got a Loot Golem, but I love the Stained Glass Golem and the Stone Golem is bigger than I though it would be.

 

My friend got a Pirate Ship. It definitely looks awesome, but I think I’d struggle to use it enough in my games to justify the cost and it’s that big I’d need to find more room just to store it! :-D

I help myself with chatting in the discord and getting my own information from ReaperHQ ZombieCo (Reaper UK), but I would very very much appreciate an official update from here.
We know they're a smaller group, and we know they might have their struggles, like getting enough shippers to accept their packages.

But if we are not updated, we're trying to fill in the blanks ourselves with guesses.

I'd much prefer to know the actual state. Would it be possible to get like a weekly update from the UK guys stating how many they shipped last week, possibly some issue they're tackling or have tackled, and what wave they're in?

 

I'm 100% sure this would be appreciated and help ease the minds of many EU/UK backers.

Just a few more of the minis I’ve painted so far in this haul - I’m pretty much just airbrushing a base coat then dry brushing and picking out a few details. Can’t beat the value/quality combo you get with Reaper KS!

I’m really happy I got the Dark Depths expansion. The Aquatic Beholder is probably worth half the cost of entry by itself, but there are so many cool minis in the box. 39 minis for $50 is ridiculous value.

I am really impressed by the townsfolk figures. I expected to like them, but not as much as I am liking them. They are such simple sculpts and yet they provide a really nice range of characters that include a couple of possible wizards, priests and thieves. Plus townsfolk can be thrown nearly everywhere.

Dark depths value for money was amazing. That is mostly due to the the large size of nearly all figures and the large amount of medium to large figures. A comparison to a similar product on the market (Wizkids dolphins and sharks, ~10AUD for a large shark and fin or two large dolphins), really highlight this. As I said previously the merpeople being so large was a real surprise.

I used to game English Civil War, so that’s a familiar concept (so called becuase the standard number was 12), seen on most musketeer figures.   There’s a lot of obsolete jargon you learn in this hobby.

EU update was asked in the latest ReaperLive. Have not had the chance to see it, but this was posted at the discord.

I understand that things take a long time, that this is happening outside of Reaper HQ, that the team is much smaller, etc...

... but the last time anything was officially communicated in the Kickstarter Updates about "UK Zone" shipping was on August 16th. EU shipping was supposedly 50% done, one month after the July 16th update said EU shipping had begun. So, if that's anything to go on... update in another 6 days?

Then again I also understand that there might not be much to communicate. Still, whatever there is, I don't feel like I should be going on a scavenger hunt for breadcrumbs to know what to expect, and I'm not the only person in the dark. I dunno, I'm getting a bit antsy now.
