I didn't want to put some huge unibrows on them

Unibrows are the secret ingredient that really pulls all of my work together at the end.  Really accentuates the eyes I paint pointing different directions.

And I’ve got a lot of figures that I’ve painted way too big of eye brows on. Any more eye brows make me worry a lot more than eyes themselves!

Wonderful job with the faces and nice work on the subtle colors -

Thank you Iridil!  I keep trying to keep some soft colors with the elves, so hopefully it looks okay. I have some more of these as well that I'll try the pastel pale color schemes.

Finally managed to get a mini off my shelf of shame.

This guy belongs to one of my players the he had asked me to paint up back in 2017. The tunic was kind of a joke, but we decided to run with it. Last game session, he had used the bathroom and everyone was giving him a rough time about needing to have to repaint my bathroom given how long he was in there, and the fact that no one else could use it for the next hour. As suggestions of color schemes were being thrown out, one player suggested pearlescent green. I wasn't too thrilled with that, but it said how about a pearlescent cream color, which made me think of Sophie Champange. So, I grabbed the bottle, gave it a quick shake, put some on my pallette, and showed it off. It didn't seem too appealling on a white pallette, so I grabbed this players mini off the table and slapped a bit on the tunic. The owner of the mini said he really liked the color, so here we go after toning it down a bit with some Agrax Earthshade.

I am trying get the -in my opinion- less enjoyable player character-type minis out of the way, which will let me do the more fun monster minis when finishing up the core set, hopefully letting me keep up the motivation to actually get the entire set done as I have wowed to do.

This Elf Barbarian reminds me of Final Fantasy for some reason...might be the subtle and understated sword-thing.

Elf Necromancer? Yah, that would be a Drow.

This is the kind of whip that works in Bones material as it will not break like it would in many other materials. Whip it! Whip it real good!

So here is one I've recently finished, a Thunderbolt Mountain Elf maiden miniature.  I really love Tom Meier's miniatures, but they have such fine detail and such small eyes it's hard to get in there even with a small pointy brush.

I wanted to give her light clear colors, so hopefully that worked out.  The one other item on this was being she was blonde and her face is so small and delicate I didn't give her eyebrows, which I normally would do.

Anyhoos, have a look, hope you enjoy:
