Popular Post golldan
I primed these minis that did not need basing, to get some minis prepped before it got too snowy here. So I have these all primed white, and for the most part, I washed (or what seems more like a stain, or maybe it is a one step glaze with no undershading... Maybe someone here can put the right term to it. :) ) the minis with some painting after that. These all went pretty quick and easy... Easy Pig- Prime White > Wash with Army Painter Red (1/10 water), paint eyes Reaper Walnut bwn, Reaper Aged Bone dot. Pumpkins in one cart (Right), washed with Secret Weapon Orange which gave a nice shine. Over painted with Reaper oranges as could not get bright enough. Used Reaper Brown Liner pumpkin 'valleys'?, but it the Army Painter Green Ink looks better in valley (Left, but not under coated with Orange SW wash). Easy Flame-Prime White > Secret Weapon Orange Wash, tips of flame Reaper Blood Red. Topper brazier is Prime White > Reaper Grey Liner (1/10 water) wash. Done. Easy Page- Pages of the books are Reaper Sepia Liner (1/10 water) wash. (then painted gibberish on it), but the rich brown aged vellum look, took 2 seconds. Boats - Prime White, washed with Reaper Brown Liner (1/10 water), except seats and trim on left one, and used wash of GW Reikland Fleshshade. On Right one's hull, added a wash over that of Army Painter Blue Ink (1/10 water). The wash/stain on the white for the wood grain on these boats, gave it a nice 'ole nautical feel. Easy Fish - Prime White, top Army Painter Green Ink (1/10 water) or GW Coelia Greenshade, and belly Reaper Clear Yellow (1/10 Water).
