Darn you.  This thread and the recent SW movie are making me seriously consider getting into Legions.

They come in 32 packs....

That would definitely explain why there are so many.  I'm so used to 5, 10, or 20 packs of bases.

To bad there isn’t a 6mm line of Star Wars minis.

You want to play Star Wars historicals. Mass gun lines of Troopers like Napoleoanic systems.

I wish someone would do this, starting with a box game of the Hoth battle.

They probably don't look much different, but I've cleaned up all the helmets.

Hopefully just one more session for most of them to put in a few highlights and touch up anything I've missed.  Guy with the backpack might need a bit more once I look up what the backpack should look like.

I tried out my new magnifiers while doing them today and so far I think it will be much better for my neck than the magnifying lens on the lamp I was using.  Hopefully this will help me paint for linger before my neck complains too much.

Now that I'm thinking about it, that technically already exists. 9943013305_4a56dee3d5_b.thumb.jpg.a714dcdb1afb9327f658616c0e9c43c0.jpg

The old Micro Machines Star Wars line was pretty small, all the figures need is a ruleset.

Ok, all that white is as done as it is getting.

Just need to see what to do with that backpack, and get the bases done.

BTW, the X-Wing game is nominally 1/270 scale, which is very close to 6mm....

I've been sick with a sinus infection, which is not compatible with me painting.

Started feeling better yesterday, so got a start on the rest of the bases.

I also hit the troopers with a spray of gloss.  Will need to decide what, if anything, shouldn't be glossy....

So I have discovered there is a SW:Legions group in Des Moines that calls themselves the 515th.  On Wednesday I'll be driving up where they're going to teach me to play.

I imagine that my birthday funds in mid-March will probably be used to acquire some SW:Legions stuff.

I blame you Jasper.
