The last gasp of 2019

Recommended Posts

Jeeminy Christmas!  I really like these.  The paint jobs all look so dang smooth.  And, yes, the fox and bird both deserve individual shots of the freehand.  I would say you finished off 2019 with a great batch.  Man, nicely done.

Those are great!

Love the flowers on the Kitsune's Robes And that bird with the umbrella is awesome!

Who makes these?

Thank you!  I appreciate that. I like the little critters and I really appreciate the comments.  I will put some additional pictures up shortly.

Thanks they are the kritterkin series by Bombshell miniatures.  The bird is a peacock who is apparently trying some crossdressing ::D:.  My other favorite was the wolf in the pink dress.  Thanks again for the kudos!

You certainly went out with a bang! Wonderful freehand!

Thanks Iridil!  I had fun with these little guys.  They have just enough intricacy to keep them interesting without being overwhelming.

That and they are all so darn cute!

Just a water frog peddling his water crop.  Agents of M.E.O.W. beware!

anyways, this mini just makes me smile.  Makes me think of a grippli from an old campaign.  I cant help but imagine that after saving the world, the tired frog put down roots and started peddling trinkets and goodies to the good people of the swamp.  I do like the way this came out, its simple but even the base just seemed to work.  hope you enjoy him too.

Here is a Vulture Demon that I have used my newest Iwata airbrush on. I am very pleased with how he came out. He is on a 50mm base and is made of metal from Reaper. I had to bent the wings into an interesting pose, but I like where this guy ended up. :)

Been working on a new game for dungeon crawling, and have settled with predominantly Reaper miniatures for my personal use (and for use in game component imagery, etc.).  Second post here, so apologies if I fumble the image stuff a few times.

Presenting Amiri, she's an Iconic Barbarian from Reapers Pathfinder line.

Had this one a little while, but all the fiddly bits kept putting me off (and I normally like fiddly minis), she turned out to be super fun to paint though.

As always any comments or criticisms are warmly received.

So I finished this miniature. Video will be uploaded once I edit it.

This isn't finished yet but I wanted to go ahead and get the post up on here. This is the Crimson Herald, a Reaper Bones Black figure.

I didn't have a color scheme going into this big bad boy.  Sadly the photos REALLY don't do it justice and I do have a video I am getting ready to post to youtube.

      This whole thing was like a Bob Ross Saved it moment for me. I grabbed paint throwing all caution to the wind and was like "ITTTTSSSSS FIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNEEEEEE" {its fine}
      Spoiler. It wasn't fine.

So I painted the body With Citadel Hex Wraith Flame. The entire time after i was just like "oh god... what have i done! its a lime green wraith thing...."

Luckily I had a bottle of Citadel Technical paint "Soulstone Blue" which weirdly enough I realized "i used technical paint... which doesn't dry normally very thick... and my solution is to use MORE paint that doesn't dry thick to make a thick paint? am i mad?!" Answer yes, but the photographs show im not without some merit to my madness.
