I'm pretty excited about finishing this guy. Stone giant (HT8c) from Otherworld Miniatures. I used Badger's gray airbrush primer, Reaper 09086 Stone Grey and 09087 Weathered Stone 09476 Woodland Brown, Army Painter Dark Tone wash.

Comments are welcome!

Looks great, the skin is super!

I do think the fur will benefit from a little dark wash ( black or dark brown or a very dark purple wash) and then a little more highlight.

Also on the front of his fur loincloth you missed a few details.

There are teeth/horns hanging there, they could be picked out with a white bone colour while the small ropes could be done in a sepia or chestnut to give contracts against the fur.

I totally missed those! Thanks for the suggestions!

Another result from my 4th of July Paint Binge. A couple of creepy crawlies for the players to encounter down an old mine shaft:

For your consideration I present my take on the Golan, Hill Giant. This was painted by me as part of a contest for a Twitch streamer I follow. The challenge was to push your boundaries and do something you had never done before. I chose this model because I had never worked on something with this much skin before and I really needed to practice my skin tones. I went with a more earthy look in the color pallet and am pretty happy with how it turned out. C&C welcome

Naturally, the giants of the Lost Valley are Stone Giants, seeing as the Lost Valley is in the Stone Age.

FeeFie, Fo and Fum the three Stone Giants. I rebased them on 60mm bases.

Working on the Stone Giant. I'm looking for any constructive criticism but especially of the highlighting on the flesh. Not sure if I am finished or if it needs more highlights on the flesh. Everything else just is base colors and has not been worked on other than that.  He came missing the the left hand and club.

I base coated this guy (Otherworld Shadow 1 of 2) in Reaper Nightmare Black (a gorgeous blue-black) and drybrush highlighted with a 50/50 mix of Oceanic Blue and Pure White.

I think he looks done! Thoughts? Too heavy on the dry brush? I plan to use some Vallejo Ground Texture on the base. Happy to hear comments and criticism.
