snitchythedog
Just a broken down cart for the Loot the cart scenario in Thaw of the Litch Lord. Scratchbuilt from card, matchsticks and laser cut wheels. BIts from Tabletop Arts. Only needs static grass. snitchythedog
Starting a new project for Christmas. I always wanted a gypsy camp site as a setting for a game. Unfortunately a game never materialized where I would actually need one. That did not stop me from building a vardo a few years ago. Now that my gaming club has decided that Pulp Alley is a worthwhile system that has all changed. Since a gypsy camp will work for some of the scenarios I am feeling free to start the project up again. The new vardo is similar to the old as it is all card and coffee stirrer construction. The interior will not be playable but like the other one it will be detailed. More photos on my blog if you are inclined. The posts for construction of the old one are back in late 2014 if you are interested.
MoonglowMinis
This is some fantastic work! I especially love the funnel web scatter and the haunted crypt building. One note though, I'd caution you away from using the word "g*psy" as it has a long history of being used as a slur. If you're speaking of the ethnic group then Roma or Romani is suitable, or if you're referring to non-specific nomadic peoples then Traveler is the accepted nomenclature. 3

In this case it is used correctly. A traveller site does not quite fit the eastern/central European pulp setting that we are playing.

snitchythedog
Managed some interior work last night. All that is left on the inside is some minor woodwork and gap filling. Hope you like.

snitchythedog
I just need to add a roof and do the groundwork. More photos on my blog if you are interested. Hope you like.
snitchythedog
Finished the yellow Vardo. Simple card roof, groundwork and my craptastic paintjob. A photo of the interior with the flash. While I was finishing this off I also did my forest contribution for the year. The bones Tree of despair came with two victims so I figured I could use a second. I am planning on a bow top Vardo next. snitchythedog
Next up is the bow top Vardo. It took a bit more planning than the normal one. I will add bits in and shutters before painting.

snitchythedog
Finished up. Here are photos without the top. Photos with the top. Photos of the whole encampment. Three scratch builds and two MDF Vardos. Any suggestions for other scenery to build with?
