Lady Tam
Steve, if it helps I am more than willing to take anyone from overseas that wants to particpate. I have no trouble with putting a "little" more into postage so that someone over there can 'play' too! LT
Lady Tam
I've been checking these miinis exchanges from the beginning and everytime I don't sign up I feel bad ( I just wouldn't want to disappoint anyone, not that my skill are a joke or great, but when I see the pictures posted, we'll you know) It's the thought that counts dear. And any mini that has been painstakingly painted especially for me, will have a special place in my mini cabinet, no mater what the "level" of painting on it! battleMountainminis
I don't mind exchanging with someone overseas. I'll happily do the extra postage for the fun of this..I'm excited about this exchange, it's my first one ..What a great concept my hats off to all the painters who are going to make this a huge success! Isis
I'm definitely in on this one. I'm one of those people who are overseas, so thank you to all those of you who are happy to pay a little more postage to allow your antipodean counterparts to take part in this. NymMoondown
I don't mind the extra postage either.
Spike
Actually overseas postage turned out to be surprisingly affordable last year when I mailed a pair of elf minis to a friend in Australia. As I recall, it was less than three dollars, and that was including a christmas card and ornament too (mini packed in 3/4" styrofoam sandwiched between two pieces of cardboard and packed in a 5X7" bubble envelope) Both elves made it all the way to Queensland intact, and my friend was MOST pleased with her new Reaper minis. pae
I've shipped a number of minis to Europe for $4.00 each via Airmail. It's a bit slower than Global Priority, but I've not had any problems with it.
Moderator Froggy the Great Posted July 26, 2004 Moderator Share Posted July 26, 2004 I had a mini break when I sent it to Denmark this spring, but that was a metal/wood superglue joint (I think), and I think I know why in the packing.
