The banner is quite the eye catcher. Love it. Very clean lines and great design.

I also like the basing. Definitely reminds me of a landscape fit for horse Lords.

The miniatures themselves are also well painted. Here and there some deeper shadows would help to define them more  and provide a more satisfying experience to the beholder trying to pick out the details.

All in all splendid work that takes a minute to get acquainted to and lets the eye wander.  In my opinion that is the highest praise for a mini or diorama.

Hello everyone, here's the fifth dwarf of my Slayer unit. This model was sculpted in the mid-90s by Aly Morrison.
Since I have two of these models in the unit I decided to convert this one. He was a standard bearer, I swap his banner for an axe.

This guy originally had a cat familiar on his base, but I removed that to set aside for a future project. I really like how the highlighting came out, as well as the decoupaged book pages. His color scheme is based off of the Knickerbocker LOTR Gandalf figure from the 70's (a toy I admire, but will never be able to afford as long as I've got this pesky mortgage).

Wanted to have another crack at getting all my Warhammer Underworlds stuff painted up (I've got almost 200 to do now).
Rather than doing them in big batches, which can get overwhelming and then go unfinished, I'm going to try and paint each team, starting with my Hedonites:-

A group of pleasure-seekers and obsessives brought together by a mysterious entity, the Hedonites endlessly pursue new extreme sensations and experiences when not carrying out tasks for their unknown leader.

From left to right we have Vasilios (Obsessive hunter), Despina (Thrill killer and Vasilios's sister), Polyxeni (Mistress of mirror magic), Leonidas (Broken soldier) and Dimos (Drug-addled mutant).

      I'm starting with Poly:-

She's not an Underworlds mini, but she fits in with the set.
Made a start on her skin (Rosy Flesh with a Flesh Wash), not looking forward to getting in under her fancy hat to paint her eyes.
