Upcoming 2 Headed Troll Questions

Recommended Posts

I recently bought the 2 headed Troll "Lardgulp" to use as a boss in an upcoming battle for my play group. The problem is that compared to the reaper black Rock Troll I received he is not so intimidating...

However, I've seen on other sites a new reaper black or bones 2 headed Troll for pre order. I was wondering if there were any pictures of it compared to the Rock troll, and when will it be available on the site properly?

Reaper did make a Bones Black two-headed troll in the Bones 4 Kickstarter.  Here's a picture of it next to the Rock Troll.  As you can see, they're comparable in size.  Much more intimidating. :)

As for availability, you're in luck.  The Two-headed Troll is on the release list for this month, so it should be available at retail and on Reaper's site on Monday, February 17th.

Thanks that's exactly what I was hoping for! (Both the size and date. Lol)

What, not the Battering Ham?!

I used him as a low level kind of antagonist in the after school game - he stole the pig, and was running around going 'Whoop! Whoop! Whoop!'

The Auld Grump - your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to arrest a drunk two headed troll, and not injure either the troll or the stolen pig in the process.

"And some good news here. We're preparing the new Kickstarter right now, called "Sitting Folks". Yes, we want to create a lot of miniatures in sitting poses. The launching date is about the middle of November. Yes, we're still painting rewards from the previous campaign, but the new one will not affect the process." -- from the Dwarven Forge Gaming Talk forum!

      Story
Long gone is the time of Dwarves in Midlam, a city built over the ruins of their Middle Home, which lay between the Lost Mountains and the Southern Holds.  The Barons of Midlam have always claimed their city was gifted to them by the dwarves of old, and claim an ancient alliance, although dwarves have rarely been seen in the city, and must register their presence with the Town Council.
Far to the North, so they say, lies the Lost Mountains, a place of legend and dragons.  It is said that many years ago, a dwarf came to Midlam in secret, hired two guides and headed North, never to be seen again.  There was also rumours that a group of grizzled dwarven mercenaries made the journey, but they too disappeared into folklore.
Now rumours abound of Dwarven Adventurers, heading North once more, into the perpetual freezing wastes.  The frightened chatter speaks of their desire to rid the Mountains of the orcs and goblins and return the Dwarven King to his throne.  Nobody knows what truly lies North, but people fear the return of the old wars, rampaging dragons and a dark evil that has no name...

I backed their original Mythic Battles: Pantheon. Good miniatures.

IIRC, Mythic Battles: Pantheon core sets in the KS, and possibly some expansions in the PM. Expansion reprints were difficult because printer required a minimum number, and Monolith wasn't sure how many sets backers would want. Also, let me know how their fulfilment has been going. (Not to be confused with their former partner, Mythic games.)

Hi! I was just wondering if there were any reaper dragon minis close in size to the young green wizkids dragon? or any other dragons of any types that's not wizkids that's similar in size? I'm wanting to run an encounter with two dragons of the same size and would prefer not to double up on minis, and would love to expand my dragon collection to other companies than wizkids.
