Liquid resin.  Mine is an Anycubic Photon S.  Great printer.  That said, the print failed; one of only a few failures I have had in the last 6 months.  Not sure what happened, but the supports all sheared off of the base early in the process.  I am reprinting now.  I hope it succeeds, as I haven't a clue what I can do software wise to make it better; larger supports maybe.

I own a plastic extruding printer, a Prusa i3 MK3S. It’s great to print terrain and bases. I didn't try to print a miniature figure. I'm sure liquid resin printed are better for that purpose. I think the detail come out better with your type of printer. Good luck with the second print, I'm sure you'll manage to make it work.

The print went fine.  I definitely need to deepen/enhance the eyes.  Pretty much everything else came out great though:

(Sorry if the colors seem off, I played around with the contrast and brightness to try to make the details show on the aqua-blue resin.)

Wow, that looks amazing. I'd definitely buy a couple of them if someone (I dunno, like Reaper ) made them commercially available.

It's exactly like the digital model. It came out great, you did a fantastic work. It's crazy how precise these liquid printer are.

Reposed the green at lunch today to match the snow leopard.  I also shortened its neck.

Then, I roughed in the dorsal frill.

Man, if Reaper doesn't grab these, you have to make the STLs or prints available! I love that green already.

One way or the other these will be available somehow, even if I have to Kickstart the STLs myself, but for now I am just focusing on getting them done, then we'll see where they go from there.

More face and scale refinements:

It is almost to the point where I turn off symmetry, move it to the final pose, then ramp up the resolution and go to town on the fine details.

I agree!

And while you're at it, maybe one day....a KS with animals?

You know, the realistic ones, the ones lots of us would like?

Put out the STL's for those sculpts?

Gorgonopsids? Etc...

Just give me the word and I would back for a few great prehistorics and/or realistic animals.

You know I loved to paint the komodo dragon.

Maybe a few alternate poses?

I would buy that in an instant.

I have been actually thinking of doing just this if I get furloughed, but so far things are going well; actually, I have so much work to do I've been doing OT.

Never hurts to have a back up plan.

Or an after retirement project..

Today, I split the head from the body, so I could pose the body and increase the resolution on the head.  Then I made a very rough base, posed the body, and detailed the head (which is pretty much done at this point).
