Andrea Romano was the voice director for Batman.  If she's involved with a show, that's a good indicator that it will be an excellent show.  Or at least well voice acted.

The Kickstarter announced Pack Rat but no Condiment King?!?!  How sad.

Give it time.

But it's hilarious that everyone is calling for Condiment King. No one loves Pack Rat...

I didn't watch the old animated Batman show much. The things I'm excited about on here are the ones that crossover into the current Harley Quinn series.

They seriously need to add Kite-Man

Sadly, Kite-Man never appeared in Batman: TAS, so it's unlikely that there'll be such a figure for this game.

And I highly recommend watching the old show. It's still really, really good.

One thing I remembered the most about this show was at the time I thought the artwork suited Superman more then Batman, at least the characters, I mean come on that chin was definitely a Superman thing. After awhile I really started to like the style & fondly remember watching it if I got home from school in time.

IIRC, didn't Supes get a show with similar art style later?

The final season of Batman: TAS (also known as the New Batman Adventures or something), along with a Superman animated series, and then leading into both 2 seasons of Justice League, and then Justice League: Unlimited along with Batman: Beyond.

They were all stellar. I didn't care one whit about Wonder Woman, for example, until I saw her in Justice League, and they did a great job of making me like the Huntress, the Question, Green Arrow, and countless other characters in the DC universe. I need to get JL and JLU on disc, since they're no longer available on Netflix. I already own all of BTAS, Superman, and B:B, and they're terrific.

Yes.  I have heard that it is less watchable simply because for Batman, the solutions are usually about Batman being clever and outsmarting his opponent, while for Superman, his solutions are too often being more super than we previously thought.

That tends to be true of Superman films as well (like when he flew so fast it turned back time, or when he picked up a continent made of Kryptonite and flew it into space, etc).

I'd actually say that the Superman animated series is probably my favorite version of Superman. He's strong, he's powerful, but he still feels pain, he still has trials that he has to overcome. He still has to occasionally out think his opponents, like figuring out how to get around Parasite, or shut down Livewire. They drastically scaled down his powerset overall, and laser blasters will actually affect him to an extent. He's strong, and he can go toe to toe against Darkseid, but he's still challenged.

One of my favorite episodes is probably the one where Clark Kent is presumed dead after his car explodes due to a car bomb. Superman has to grapple with what to do when his human persona has potentially died, and how he might have to live with only being Superman. It's a solid episode.

Superman wasn't as good as Batman, but it was pretty darn solid.

Glad this one turned out alright after the issues they started running in to (I went the refund route instead).

I never doubted it wouldn’t deliver. They still kept producing updates showing that the various stages were progressing. It was just way behind schedule. It would have been a very elaborate con if they didn’t deliver.

You're more optimistic than I am!

I didn't think it was a con, but they did seem to be at the mercy of issues beyond their control (like having to remove all the guns from their artwork, just as stuff was about to go into production) and closing down their games department mid-project didn't ease my worries.
