That's the preview page, project will go live on 25th.

Miniatures look great:

But I'm trying to talk myself out of it:

- The company's first project (Wild Assent) has not yet been delivered (they say they will keep the pledge manager for this project open long enough so you can up your pledge as soon as Wild Assent is delivered)

- It's ... quite pricey.

- Minis look like they are made by Archon (which on the one hand is good because Archon does make nice, detailed minis ... on the other hand ... I'm not so sure I want to support the company for different reasons)

But ...

Update from February 3rd for their previous KS.

I'm pretty iffy on game development after a KS funds, since it risks delays, and their previous KS has been delayed. IIRC, that was one of the problems with Super Dungeon Explore Legends, whose project has gone bankrupt.

I also haven't kept up with how Archon treats their KS clients. Archon funded a terrain KS a few months ago. IIRC, At that time, they still had some KS outstanding.

With Tiny Furniture's "Bring out yer dead" miniatures and Hand of Glory's "You can swap a sword for an angry monkey" magnetized miniatures, my wallet's gonna pass on this one...

We are still testing the boss fights because they are simply too hard at the moment. We originally had a pretty steep difficulty for Wild Assent (which everyone will still be able to enjoy using the core game’s campaign book), but this is too much, even for us. The campaign missions are also still in testing, the hireable Seekers proving especially difficult to balance as they take turns either being too weak or too strong. I think I have an idea on how to fix that but, of course, that requires yet more testing. With these issues outstanding, we still haven’t sent the printed components to Archon as they (their printer, honestly) want everything but the books at once, and I don’t want to print cards and then try to balance them with rules (that would be a backwards way of doing things).

Those are some potentially very nice minis, but neither them nor the game is really jumping out at me as something I need.

I simply can't justify the price regardless of how nice the minis look.  So I'm going to have to give this one a pass.  I do hope the project does well though.  Could be fun to watch.

Ok, so maybe....

Comments on preview page say the minis will not be made in Unicast (which is an Archon method). Not sure this means they will not be made by Archon ...?

And: with all the detail on the minis, I thought Unicast was a good way to retain that detail. If not Unicast, but "normal" plastic, I doubt the minis will come out with that level of detail.

Why not to make these unicast unless archon is not involved? Maybe this is some sort of attempt to upscale the quality? or are they going china all the way?

Whatever the case, that leaves resin (that archon also makes)  or PVC / restic.  Based on the look of the renders, I would hazard a guess that PVC won't cut it.

Some nice minis and looking like good production value but too expensive and the huge pieces always feel like a waste of plastic to me.   I've always been wary of games that advertise the number of minis/tokens/cards as a selling feature.  Yes getting a mass of minis for a good price is always nice, but I feel they should either market a "really cool game" that happens to have really nice minis or just do a mini kickstarter if that's what you're wanting to push.

Spending too much money on STL files and resin these days and still have a lot of things I want to add to my Bones pledge manager that I'll have to pass on this one.

They said no Unicast because " we're not asking for enough money for the game to be made with Unicast. "

Somehow that does not alleviate my doubts.

oh h-e-double hockeysticks no! They said that?

Definately do not expect the results to match the renders.

...And the last one they KSed is not delivered yet?

Too many Red Flags waving for me than. I'm not touching this one with a ten foot pole. Too bad as the minis do look interesting. Best of luck to it and to anyone whom chooses to back.

Those are some ambitiously priced pledge levels. I'm not saying they'll struggle to get backers (things like Kingdom Death exist afterall) but by pricing themselves out of the market a bit they could be losing a lot of potential backers - especially if they have an undelivered project casting a shadow over their reputation as well.

Welcome to our second Kickstarter campaign!
We are 3DBreed Miniatures and after our first successful kickstarter campaign '1775 Join or Die' , we are happy to present 'Sky Shards: The Arrival', a collection of 6mm scale mecha models and terrain objects, created to be printed at home in resin printers such Anycubic Photon or Elegoo Mars, or in FDM printers such as Ender 3 or Prusa.
** We remind you that this Kickstarter is for digital files (STLs) to make all these items on your own 3D printer, such as Anycubic Photon or Ender 3. These are not physical models **
The models have been designed in pieces to allow an easy printing and removal process of the supports. They are ideal to be adapted to any RPG or Wargame.
The pledge consists of 4 different factions with their unique style. Each faction has 2 Heavy mechs (40-70mm high), 5 Medium Mechs (30-40mm high) and 5 Light Mechs (20-30mm high). Besides, a basic terrain objects' pack is included in the pledge, along with 6mm scale infantry units, an APC vehicle, a tank and a generic excavator to extract the valuable 'Sky Shards'.
In 3DBreed Miniatures we firmly believe that the best way to show the confidence in our work is to give you the opportunity to download the THOR'S HAMMER squadron's free 3D printing files to make a printing test. They will give you a good idea of a finished miniature in your hand.
      DOWNLOAD THOR'S HAMMER SQUADRON
'Sky Shards: The arrival' has just a pledge of 40€ and with it, you'll get all the miniatures and terrain objects of the basic set and all the stretch goals' aditional content that we manage to unlock:

My name is Bruno and I recently decided to use my (few) graphic skills to design my own waterslide transfers, as I could not manage to get the details on my miniatures right. Especially the parchment, scrolls and purity seals never quite looked as good as I wanted. After sharing some of my work on Reddit and Instagram, I discovered many more miniature hobbyist had this same issue, which lead me to this kickstarter! Besides sharing my own designs, these transfers will be screen printed by industry leading professionals to the highest quality possible.    The first sheet The finished product will be an A5 (210x148 mm) transfer sheet printed in 3 colors: White, Black and Red. The sheet will have hundreds of different designs to give you the most flexibility possible when personalising your mini's. I will regularly add new designs to the sheet, taking into account the backers feedback, until the sheet is full.                      Now while this seems geared to Warhammer 40K at first glance there is going to be a lot that's of more general interest, how many minis have you got with open books, parchments etc that just don't look great when you try and do it yourself?

seems well worth a go, and not bad price wise (if you've ever tried to make your own waterslide stuff)

Another Kickstarter from Crooked Dice. This expands their well established "TV7" line with new rules, new figures and the chance to buy old ones at a discount.

I've backed several of their projects and always had good, friendly service with excellent figures, so I shall be having at least a few of these.

Something to keep me happy for the next few, isolated weeks!
