Heroforge - interesting creature builds

I started playing around with Heroforge. It can really fill in the gaps for unique character concepts that arent really available. So, how about people post some screen shots of stuff you have come up with. Maybe it will help inspire others.

I will start. The first is a character concept that I will likely not play. Its a Goblin for Starfinder. I like the cute and viciousness that the tool can convey.

The rest here are wereravens. So... I made this big (40mm) which means that it would cost a fortune ($40 each) to order the premium. But if I ever get a 3d printer I will! Plus I made a human form for each. But here are mine. Show off yoru designs!

It is noticeably less expensive to buy the STLs from HeroForge and have them 3D printed by Impact! Miniatures than it is to have them printed by HeroForge.

About $7 to $11 for a standard hero on foot.

Impact! uses a transparent blue resin(?) but if you prime, it makes no real difference that the material is transparent.

Yeah, I have used Impact once. I recommended him in the Heroforge color Kickstarter thread. Have to say that the price was good and the detail was as the premium plastic, but I’m just not a fan of translucent material. Though he does have another printer and material. I wonder if requested if he would print in that grey resin.

But is it solid? Apparently HeroForge's stuff is pretty durable.

I dunno about impact, but I've found Heroforge is pretty brittle.

Though we didn't splurge for the premium material, but still- for 20 bucks a miniature, I wasn't happy at how quickly two of our PCs minis were broken.

Still, the software is fascinating, and so fun to play around in.

Half tempted to buy this serpentfolk, elephant-headed, double RPG and electric guitar-wielding absolute unit.

I dunno, I found a durability test for the Premium Plastic and it seemed to hold up to drops pretty well.

Meanwhile one of my Warduke had his ankles broken (and glued back on with way too much glue) before it was even sent to me, and then his sword broke in transit despite being wrapped in cotton, and the other Warduke's helmet fin tip had also broken off. Even holding em they don't feel terribly sturdy, the other's sword feels like it could snap if I hold it wrong, etc.

It looks like there is a major difference in regards to durability from earlier HeroForge and the newer material. Early HeroForge was extremely fragile - breaking from the pressure of drybrushing, on at least one occasion.

Detail from Impact is very good - my only, very minor, complaint is the transparent blue material. Not bad - I just don't like it.

It did not break from drybrushing, or falling about four feet to a linoleum floor.

I've been playing around with HF, since I built & printed my Weds night PC, here's a few I did for a upcoming Eberron AL game.

Mainly, the villains for the adventure. The main guy is the half-orc. His stats says he isn't wearing any armor & is sitting in the lotus position if the PCs ever meet him before the final battle, but he's not a monk. He wields a greatsword & will throw off his jacket to reveal 4 flying daggers. I figured the come at me bro stance would be good for this guy.

At first the orc monk was the half-orc guy but I didn't think there was a orc race body. The orc actually is a monk (one of his attacks can be a flurry of blows of x6 & it recharges on a d6 (5-6)!

The helmed horror was experiment as Nolzur's has a helmed horror. I just wanted to see what I could come up with.

Wow, is something I came up with while at the game store last night waiting for players. Right now one of my main players is dealing with some job issues (not him, but people around him) & he couldn't make it so I was going to run a one-shot for whoever showed up, last night. I got no one but I did make his guy. His pose is Reaper forum appropriate as well that is a bathrobe. His feet are bunny slippers & you can't see it but he does have a rocket pack on his back. I told the store clerk, who is filling for the owners as they are at GAMA this week that this would be my Pathfinder Society character if I ever played. As he is the GM coordinator for the all rpgs at the store, he approved.
