nadinbrzezinski
So which one is your favorite? I will break with the usual and say that the Fenri is just ... what can I say? GREAT! (Then again I do not think I got any of the new CAVs... combined arms me) Nadin
Daley's Dragoons
I hate to sound like more of an idiot than normal, but I can not find the Fenri anywhere. Did a site search, looked through the greens and new releases, even the CAV gallery...I can not seem to find it anywhere.
nadinbrzezinski
You are not, I did a search and could not find it. That said I DID buy two blisters yesterday and they are getting painted almost as we speak. Nadin
ladystorm
downloading CW#10 would locate them. if that helps at all... cbs
nadinbrzezinski
And if all else fails I am willing to take a piccie of the darn cute things... yes they are cute... then with apropriate email will send you a photo of them. :D Nadin
Leech
Hmm, Nadin I'd be more inclined to call them adorable than cute... afterall newborns aren't cute (usually) but they are still adorable :o) I haven't painted any of my Fenri, yet :o) I'm planning on painting them when I do the bulk of my new figures. Right now I've got Ogres and Rhinos to paint, followed by a Warlord and some more Tsuisekis :o)
nadinbrzezinski
Oh trust me I have more to paint as well, two more Tsusikei, at least two more Lances and so it goes. I did not spot the Ogre at the store... which means email contacts in Cali to see what happened with that. Don't ask, distributor getting to me. nadin
Daley's Dragoons
Thanks LS, that did the trick. They are adorable, have to check the store to see if they have gotten their new shipment. Would like to get my hands on any of the new product.
Moderator Froggy the Great Posted December 1, 2002 Moderator Share Posted December 1, 2002 I still like the Knight and Wyvern (IT'S A BLOODY WYVERN, DURNIT!), over any of the new stuff. This may change when I get some of them.
nadinbrzezinski
Well I like combined arms over anything else and CAV does it beautifully.. so you must understand how excited I am to field actual Lance tanks.
Moderator Froggy the Great Posted December 1, 2002 Moderator Share Posted December 1, 2002 Well, if the Lance Tank had armored treads, I'd like it a whole lot better. As it is, one man with an FA-45 could immobilize it.
Daley's Dragoons
Yes Nadin, I have to agree, its nice not see a system that starts out with combined arms as part of the initial rules, and not something to be added on later. No system is perfect, but this one works pretty well from the little I have gotten to play with combined arms.
nadinbrzezinski
It does work well now let me add my chants to the Ogre faith, after putting the monster together... I must say... kudos to reaper for a wonderful model... and no this is NOT a small model... which is good, very good. Nadin
Erion
He's really big. I love that the Khan only hits his waistline. Mine is next in line on the painting table after I finish my Warlord.
Mad Pat
The Oger is a great new CAV, it went together smoothy, the only downside is the size of the legs being one piece made it very hard to paint the inside of the legs.
