This is really nice, you put a bit of work into it. Did you design the 3d print tiles yourself?

I've been thinking about a way to do this too, but more with modular tiles (made from foam, unlike your nice 3d print ones). If you don't have to make it modular, some of the ideas I've had floating around might work better for you than me. You could remove the dungeon texture, put the grass or dirt flock of your choice on whichever tile (avoid the grid grooves), and once all that is dry and secure, carefully paint glue into the grooves and flock with a darker color where appropriate (a darker green where it's supposed to be grass, darker brown where it is supposed to divide dirt). Or just use a darker paint in the grooves instead of flock.

 

You could possibly make some really nice tiles that have parts of dirt and parts of grass.

Yeah, i considered that! Unfortunately for my system you often need to count the squares between you an an enemy as you have to expend actions to move. So it needs to be easily countable.

I actually had the tiles designed on Fiverr. It's been a long while since i've done any 3d work that this seemed a little out of my comfort zone. i DID build the STl files for the gold tiles though, but they were much much more simple. 

 

Good idea simply using colour to denote the tile, I suppose i could simply make the grid pattern out of green flock with worn areas of dirt to denote the center of the tile. Should be pretty straight forward. Thanks for the idea!

Thanks! It's been a really fun project to keep me busy during the Corona virus lockdown. Haven't had a chance to use it yet in game yet!

There are so many that are good, it is a loooooong list. For tabletop/non role playing games, Battletech and Warhammer 40K have been around the longest and are very well supported. If you are looking for role playing games, Dungeons & Dragons and Pathfinder are the 2 big fantasy games with Starfinder becoming very popular in just 3 years for scifi.

      I tried priming with a 1:1 mix of Blue Liner:White Brush On Primer.  There were a few mold lines and casting valleys that showed up.  I put a layer of Brush On Sealer on them.  We’ll see how that worked.

      Venomous Flowers by PrintYourMonsters.  These are 3d resin prints.  Of course, they might also be only harmless spring flowers on some sci-fi world. 
       

       
      The smallest one is a bit over 1" across, the largest is taller than a humanoid figure.  Overall I've been very happy with the Plants and Rocks files.

      Taking a hiatus on the Mocking Beast.
      Trying to gain some victory in numbers on my Bonesium Horde.  I have completed the beetle swarms, spider swarms, and skeletons without WIP. 
       
      I’m going to do the goblins now.  I plan two batches: one yellow/ochre, and the other tangerine.  Some nice “non-Greenskins.”
       

       
      Several of these required boiling.  Some are still leaning.  The spears are straighter.  One of these was the beneficiary of a weapon swap.  I had given Danar, Male Assassin 77030 his shield for a spiked shield.  In return, we have a dual wielding goblin!

      The finished version of the mini WiP I was sharing earlier today.
       
      I tried to use washes and played with basing this time around.
       
      Any suggestions would be great as I don't feel as proud for this one as I did the Dark Chronicler Astrid I did back on May.
