Samedi 776 Report post Posted April 5, 2020 The stone looks great! May I ask for the recipe?
AuralEntropy 1455 Report post Posted April 5, 2020 (edited) 3 hours ago, Samedi said: The stone looks great! May I ask for the recipe? Of course. Base coat is black primer. Then it is all dry brushing and dabbing with the dry brush. I try to avoid using a wash on rough stone as it mutes the texture. Dry brush layers, starting with a liberal amount and being more selective in where I do it as I go: dark stone (army painter), mountain stone (reaper), uniform grey (AP), foggy grey (R), and finally white, used sparingly to pick out edges and highlights. hope you get good results with that. Thanks for asking. Edited April 5, 2020 by AuralEntropy
Samedi 776 Report post Posted April 6, 2020 (edited) Thank you! I will try that (or something close since I don't have all the colours) with my next stone base! Edited April 6, 2020 by Samedi typo
