Hi all, quick question what are some paints you would like to see from reaper?

I would like to see a line of effect paints, such as a few different rust effects, something for a running oil or grease, and a very flat black for soot build up.

A good blood effect. I love the blood colored triads available but I can't seem to make it look like convincing blood most of the time.

Vallejo Special Effects Set!

Includes Dry Blood and Fresh Blood.

Also Rust/Old Rust/Vomit/Verdigris and Chipping Medium.

That blood looks really good. I recommend it!

Thanks! Will have to check that out. My FLGS carries some Vallejo but who knows when I'll get the chance to actually go in and look. Meanwhile I'll lurk the internet to find some.

Someone asked Anne on her Twich show about why Reaper doesn't do colour shifting line and I'm pretty sure she said that Reaper only deal with US pigment manufacturers. None of them make the shifting glittery stuff ::(:

Instar, Vallejo and Greenstuff World all do 'shifty' paints and are all European, so I guess that they're dealing with relatively local manufacturers.

That's a bummer.  Understandable, but a bummer.

I hope they've at least asked their suppliers about the pigments.  Who knows whether or not there's a supplier thinking about it, but waiting for "x" level of demand from their customers before they invest.
