@PaniK31 Please remove the link. No commercial links allowed, except for links to KS and IGG projects.

I wonder how well these compares to the GSW product.

The GSW rollers are made by LASER cutting hard acrylic.

I'd also like to see more actual results of the pins on clay. Wouldn't the lines from the 3D printing process for the rolling pins imprint into your bases?

I have many of the GSW roller pins so I'm all set, and those work fine.

That was my first thought as well ... maybe when you print with the lowest layer height possible?

I think it's a great idea, and reasonably priced.  Though looking at the renders the patterns seem a little too regular. One of the great advantages of the GSW pins (and Basius/Happy Seppuku stamps) is that the pattern is different all over the tool, both allowing for a variety of closely related but not the same bases, or large bases with a unique pattern across.

Without some changes, they look like they'd make some small bases ok but large bases would have repeating elements in what should be a random pattern.  It's more noticible on some than others, for example  #19 has a very distinct crack, #30 has some dry spots that make a nice zigzag pattern.  For the very inorganic and geometric patterns though it's great, but for the more 'natural' or disordered patterns it's kind of jarring to me.

I'm still dubious about GSW after the business with the shifter paints mess.. so this might be a good option for me.. but I agree, seeing actual usage of these would be helpful..

      Hi All!
I happened to come across this project and instantly got sunk into the world of Obsidia.  I thought I would share it here with all the Reaper folks!
I'm sorry for bumping my own post a few times.  After backing this project, I learned that these are first time game creators and they were turned down by some high end famous reviewers at the very last minute due to the COVID situation... Which, in my opinion, is super lame!  I don't see how you cannot do a review unless you actually got the COVID!  I hope that this post gets Obsidia to more people which would bring many hours of fun and enjoyable play!

      1-4 PLAYERS, 90 MINUTES
Players take turns exploring the dark realm of Obsidia by placing terrain tiles to create a dynamic and treacherous landscape. They'll send travelers from their home colonies out to found new towns, battling any enemy players or creatures in their path. Players will also cast spells unique to their colony class in order to gain the advantage. When all of Obsidia’s terrain has been discovered, the class controlling the most towns wins the game.

Just wanted to pass the word: Dragon Bait miniatures has a kickstarter up for 9 Fantasy Kung-fu style Turtles in 28mm. As an add-on, they are also re-releasing 4 out of production dungeon monsters in resin, formerly available in pewter from Otherworld Miniatures (John Pickford Otyugh and landshark, Andrew May Cockatrice, George Fairlamb Cerepod). Joe Corsaro from Dragon Bait has successfully completed three other campaigns--as a backer for his grunt goblins campaign I can say that the kickstarter was well run, delivered on time, and produced a quality product.
