ced1106
I got the numbers from BLG's KS pages. 🙂 If you're referring to the $125 price for FS1, that's the price on the FS2 KS and Horror KS. 1
ced1106
Weird -- I thought I posted a pic of their $125 price for FS1 on their FS2 and Dire Horror KS. Anyway, on their FS2 and Dire Horror KS, they charged $125 for the FS1 miniatures. 😄 But dunno if that's how much they'd charge retail or on the BLG website. Adrift
I’ll pay QML to ship them to me. I’m not comfortable with sending more money to BLG on the assumption that they’ll actually pay QML.

I'm 99% sure they made up the "foreign investor" at this point as a time stall, among everything else.

What's worse...they made up a foreign investor to stall, or they had one and still managed to be $360k in the hole... 🤔 I'm just curious to see what the prices QML ask for to ship are going to end up.

I'd assume they just want to empty their warehouse to free up space and put the whole mess (and bad press) behind them at this point. Worst case I could come up with would be a 5lb 24inch cube to Fork Washington (the furthest city NW of Orlando i could find that wasn't wilderness) would be 80$. but a 4lb 18x14x14 would be closer to 35$, and to pittsburgh would only be 20. They probably won't break it up by location, so I'd assume something near the 40$ range.

BLG sent off some other games that were in the shipping queue before FS1. More importantly, in general, investors are a yellow flag. In a previous Alex Lim KS, Battle Royale, an investor pulled out after funding, leaving the project without sufficient funding. A boardgame I forgot had investors and ended up with a *board of directors* for just a game, and the game designer pulled out or something. Another project I a friend of mine was involved in had an investor forget to give them a check, delaying the project a few weeks. Unfortunately, campaigns almost never divulge an investor during the campaign.
R2ED
Anyone heard further yet on this? Would love to land these before 2023. Did QML reach out to anyone or are we supposed to reach out to them?
Adrift
Haven’t heard a thing.
ced1106
Check the comments, but here's the short version: * Contra and Mega Man being shipped out. * QML will bill backers directly for payment, presumably in the next few weeks. * Kolossal Games licensed the first print run of Street Fighter and the licensing fee is *supposed* to go towards FS1 shipment or something. QML statement on BLG, although I'd say it's out of date : https://www.qmlogistics.com/blacklist/
Goddesstio
I'm curious how QML will divide up the payment. I'm sure they know that a good chunk of people have just simply abandoned the idea of receiving anything at this point, and more probably will depending on how much they charge, so it wouldn't make sense to divide up the storage evenly or they won't get paid. however if they make the charge per person too high, like prorating by weight, they risk driving off even more of the high payments needed. Or have they just accepted that some of the storage will be a write off? Probably, but I wonder what agreement they have made on ownership of the product then? So many logistics questions... I am curious to see what they end up charging people 2
ced1106
Good question. QML's owner is the same guy who owns CoolStuffInc, an online game store. So I'm purely speculating any units not shipped become QML inventory which is sold on CSI. CSI can then sell the miniatures -- and given that some later backers were willing to pay $125 per set, QML could make some profit here, or at least break reasonably even.
ced1106
Update from the QML website. Gonna take a "few more weeks". 😞 Quote Posted: October 19, 2022 We’re almost to the end of the setup! Once again, we want to thank you for your patience as we work through the details for facilitating the Fantasy Series 1 fulfillment. This is very much an unexplored cooperation between publisher and fulfillment partner, and we’re taking our time to make sure all the bases are covered. We’ve been working very closely with PledgeManager and there are only a couple of steps left to complete. This isn’t as straightforward of a process as normal crowdfunding pledge management goes and PledgeManager has been a big help in assisting us to make sure we figure everything out. We’re working through some specific accounting measures to make sure that the funds collected through this process are legally correct, managed by QML and with minimal risk for everyone involved. We expect this to only take a few more weeks. If anything changes in that timeline we’ll share that in a quick update here. Once this is complete, we’ll be ready to launch! – Quartermaster Logistics Management Team 2

I saw Fantasy Series 2 just posted updates of the sculpts, so we all know where Blacklists's priorities are.
