Murder’s Mark, Pathfinder 1e Module

Recommended Posts

"A wise thief does not commit an obvious crime, and then remain in place to be found. It does not make sense to do this, and less sense when the circus would remain in town afterwards. If any where to engage in robbing businesses, I would think they would do it better, and not top it with a murder easiest pinned on their star attraction. I know I would want to be leagues away before the crime was even discovered, or have an iron clad alibi"

"Thank you for the information and your time Sheriff Feldane.  you have been most gracious with your assistance.  I think that we should be able to find our way to the two locations without your assistance, unless of course, you think that Mrs Walder would be adverse to our looking around with your presence.  Did anyone have anything else they wanted to ask before we leave?"

You head to the murder site first to look around.  In a muddy field close to a dirt road, near some bushes.  How do you investigate?

(12+6=18 perception)
Frowning he looks around to see if there is anything obviously out of place that might provide a clue

Blood on the ground and bush, footprints both humanoid and monstrous.  It would be a different skill to draw conclusions about the prints or blood.

And let me know if anyone will assist, and who main roller is, and if it is a roll or a take 10.

"I'm afraid that I am not the the best at reading signs on the ground.  I could tell you what happened after the fact about a tavern brawl, but most of this beyond me.  Do any of you have skill at tracking?"

Karl casts about for signs of any sort of magic; perhaps used spell components or signs of evocations?

Arcana: Taking 10 +5=15

OOC-Anyone can try to use Survival untrained.  That is the skill governing identifying and following tracks.

Operative word is try.

Survival (2+0)=2

(apologies for the no-show in this one)

Darkaya has a bit of Survival (+1), she will try to assess the situation:

12 (+1), total of 13 (if anyone wants to assist, I'll be the main roller)

Pathfinder Red Dragon #60028 is a hefty beastie and I definitely did not paint him red. Instead I tried a rainbow piece for Pride 2020 (finished 8/1/2020). Also my first painted model posted here. Pardon my photography skills. I used cut up Caryatid column #77378 for a bit of terrain on the base. My biggest metal model to date.

I recently played and really enjoyed Pathfinder: Kingmaker (PC not tabletop), and I've had the urge to paint up some Pathfinder miniatures.  This guy is the Stag Lord (SKU 60073), I figured he would be quite appropriate as the first miniature painted up to be photographed on the ruined keep scenic backdrop I built recently.  I really enjoyed painting this guy (I am weird and enjoy painting skin tones far too much, bare chested models are always a treat).  My only regret is gluing his helmet on before painting his face, those big teeth made it really hard to get a brush inside the helmet at an angle that wasn't awkward, after a massive struggle I gave up trying to dot the eyes.

Brought some painting models for vacation.  Finished the Hell Hound last night, didn’t WIP it.

Had Yephima on my shelf of shame for a long time.  If it ends up 1/100 as good as the studio version I’ll be happy.  Plan on light blue skin and silvery hair, like the Bestiaries suggest.  Other than that, not sure...

Here she is primed with Brown Liner.  That’s gonna take some work to get the skin tones brighter.

      Gonna start another WIP.
This figure is bent, her hair is weird, and her features are MICROSCOPIC!

So, I’m gonna kind of rush her.

Trimmed, washed, primed in brown liner.  No attempt to straighten her bend.  The sword forms an S shape.

Face was Terran Khaki, Faded Khaki, Amber Gold, then Splintered Bone mixed in.  Then I did a half-assed lining and shading with a dilute mix of Dragon Black/Ruddy Flesh.  Eyes were then done with Splintered Bone/Dragon White, and a Dragon Black/trace Ruddy Flesh dot.

Had some nearly dry ?Red on the palette I slapped on her lower lip, then glinted it with the lightest mixed skin tone.

The hair seems like it’s supposed to be actively blown by wind.  It was painted Dragon Black, Cloudy Grey, and Cloudy Grey/Dragon White.  I then Re shaded and altered things with black again.  Honestly, her head could be Kitsune or Cosplay Cat ears, or a crown.  But there is hair texture, so I painted it like black hair.

Planning for blue dragon head since I’m due to paint another 1/5 of my Kobolds, and blue is in line.

Plan on a red/orange cloak for contrast with the dragon.

Earth Brown leggings.  Woodstain Brown boot leather, belt, gauntlets.

A small group of Goblins to use as opponents in Sellsword & Spellslingers or any other game.
