Lorak kills another sea scorpion, and five foot steps closer to another.

The sea scorpions go slightly ahead of Jandir, both at 21, but with a +5 initiative modifier.

The first strikes Scraps with one claw, the other misses.  One damage.

The other takes notice of Lorak approaching him, turns to attack him.  It lines up a sting, and critically hits.  2 damage, and Fort save vs. poison!

Jandir stands up provoking an AOO.  It hits with (yikes!) another 20.  But it does 0 damage.

Jandir now stands (move) and draws a weapon (move).

Arune's turn.

Arune fires off another acid orb at one of the remaining sea scorpions (17+4=21 to hit) and 2 damage if it hits ( OOC:  I don't have the rules in front of me for firing into melee so I am not sure if it hit or not) then moves to the pile of equipment to grab up his rapier.

(OOC Firing into melee: -4 to hit.

Many enemies have worse touch AC than regular AC, so for ranged touch spells usually still OK chances.  To get rid of this penalty requires two feats.  First is point blank shot, then precise shot).

Arune is careful to avoid hitting a friend.  Even with the sickened feeling, he still manages to hit another sea scorpion with the acid, killing it.   Ceviche anyone?  You can 5 ft step again, saving your move action to pick up your rapier.

One sea scorpion remains, the one on Scraps.

It is Scraps’ turn.

Scraps finished off the last sea scorpion.

(OOC not sure why you are listing nonlethal.  I’m not even sure that claw attack could be made nonlethal.  Also, usually when changing a lethal attack to nonlethal suffers a -4 penalty to hit).

Lorak succeeds his saving throw.

Combat is now over.  You can spend some time gathering up your supplies before you take a look around.

How do you want to look around, what do you look for?

What kind of discussions do you want to have with each other?

OOC

my claws aren't the lethal type that some Catfolk can have. It's more or less a blunt fist strike. If I wanted lethal I could have taken a racial trait but given up natural hunter but I like my skills. ^_^ I have weapon finesse with light weapons & unarmed are considered light, thus my +4 from Dex is applied to my strikes. It just sounds better vs I strike it with my fist!

I will move away from the lobster thing, shake myself off & complain about being all wet & sand in spaces I didn't know I had! I will gather my gear to the best of the my ability, while gathering is there anything I can spot?

Perception 10 +6 (if still sickened) 16 (14)

Lorak closes his eyes, inhales and exhales deeply and then takes a mental count of his injuries. 'Not too bad off' he thinks as he opens his eyes and looks around. 'First, where are we and second, where is the ship?' he asks himself as he scans the coastline. Without looking at anyone, he asks out loud, " How is everyone?"

"Wet, but alive." Scraps calls out to Lorak.

"Is everyone accounted for?" He'll scan the immediate area for people he can remember from the dining area. Really the dinner & the captain is all he can recall. He spent most of the journey in his hammock.

"Alive.....I do not like being drugged" The elf said nodding to Lorak and casting his eyes around to the rest of the people. Taking mental note of who is there, and who is not. Especially noting the absentees from the ships passengers. "I have a feeling that whoever left us here did not wish our death, or dead we would be and our gear would not be left here with us."  Heading up the beach to gather his things, and help the others gather theirs he grumbled quietly to himself in elven about taking a ship so he could avoid having to walk the whole way, and having to walk back now anyway, and with a group of people in tow at that. "I think we should rest a while here, until everyone is feeling more stable after that ordeal, maybe see if we can not come up with some reason why we would be deposited here."

Arune is sort of splitting his time gathering firewood.  And dragging the scorpions higher on the beach  (other than his rapier, how and backpack he doesn't have much in the pile. )

"Well I don't know what the future holds but (pause and a grunt as the snaps of the stinger)  these smell delicious and not at all like cookies miserable cooking.  Anyone want to help?" He realky doesn't seem phased by the poisoning...

Sabine finally wakes up on the beach as the combat ends.  You were closer to the gear pile.

A few moments later, you all manage to shake the sick feeling.

Scraps spots several sets of the same humanoid boot prints going to and from the water next to a large gouge and then lots of drag marks.  These include next to where you were deposited on the beach.

Lorak (or anyone else) can make a Knowledge(geography) or Profession(sailor) check to try to determine where you shipwrecked.

Lorak scans the horizon and sees a few shipwrecks of various age.  The newest sure looks like the Jenivere.  It is run aground of some reef, is only partly submerged, but lists with each wave.

Jandir searches around.  He notices five of the six passengers are in a small group unconscious about 30 feet north of the gear.  You see no ship crew (except Lorak), no captain, no cook, no first mate.

Arune seems cheerful. He looks to be getting ready to cook scorpion-lobster.

(make a Heal check or knowledge(nature) check to butcher the seafood in a way to get rid of the poison correctly.  Also, make a Survival check to start the fire.

Jandir first goes to make certain the rest of the passengers are in fact alive. (heal 6+7=13) His entire opinion of things swiftly changing as he does so. A sick feeling in his gut that has nothing to do with the drugs, and everything to do with the weight of a dozen lives settling in on his shoulders. At least half of them he felt confident could look after themselves, but the rest of the passengers he was less than confident about.

Arune collects the seascorpions and prepares them for dinner (they look partially cooked anyway for some reason... 11+9=20 for a knowledge nature to prepare them)  and sighs wishing today of all days he had chosen spark over light but the captain did threaten to eat him if lit one more thing on fire on the ship so it was probably for the best.  Unfortunately, he now has to start a fire the hard way.  He gathers driftwood from the beach and some canvas and other combustibles for kindling and begins digging a trench in the sand to lay the bed for a crab bake like Mama hopper taught him (survival 12+3=15)  its not beautiful but it should do the trick. (OOC: you can tell me if 15 is enough to get the fire lit and start making coals for the bake)

As he is working he sees Jandar looking sort of morose and calls over:  "they might have gotten out in a long boat.  It looks like someone dumped us here.  Maybe they got off the ship and brought the passengers here so they would have enough supplies to go get help.  And speaking of help, would you mind giving me a hand with our future dinner?  They are a little heavy for me to shift into and out of the pit".  he also notices the other passengers unconscious on the beach:  "Anybody good at fixing people?  There are some folks over there who look like they could use some assistance.  I would sing them awake but there were incidents, and threats...  "
