What is your favorite warm weather/summertime dessert?

Having just rejoined Weight Watchers I should not spend much time thinking about proper desserts as I am not allowed them on a regular basis.  So with that in mind, watermelon is so great when it's hot outside.

Ice cream. In particular, Braum's ice cream, but that's not available in my neck of the woods. So, I'll settle for Graeters now...

Ice cream is a perennial favourite. But also Mojitos, made with home-grown mint and booze pilfered from @Chaoswolf's secret stock.

Mmm now I need mojitos. My mint plant has enough leafs to take a few for it. Good rum, tasty lime... ginger ale filler. Nom nom.

Good tequila is also worth a lime. Margaritas are another excellent M drink.

Ever had a chance to try a place called Milwaukee Joe’s?

Cheesecake.  Cheesecake is always good.

Something specific to the summer?  Watermelon.

I can, I will eat ice cream year-round, even in February, so it’s not just a summertime dessert for me.

What is the most fun you have had in costume?

Keeping this family friendly... Jr. year of H.S., too old to be going around for candy, my friends and I all got dressed up, and went caroling.

Graeters is in the Cincinnati area, though their ice cream is sold in pints at most Krogers nationally, at least. They're famous for their chocolate "chips" which are enormous, soft, and delicious. They have a black raspberry chip ice cream that's sort of a signature flavor (for good reason).

May 30-31

What aspect(s) of social distancing/home quarantine have been the biggest challenge for you to handle?

I will leave you with a couple of days to think about that.  On Monday the amazing Glitterwolf will take over for the month of June.  Thanks, everyone, for playing along.

Not seeing friends, gaming, going out for dinner or going out on long hikes. We're still on lockdown for at least three more weeks and it's going to be a long time for everything to get back to normal. Still, we're healthy and being paid to stay home, so I really shouldn't complain.

A big thanks to @Inarah for this months excellent questions!
