Randomness XVII: The Madness of the Quorum

Recommended Posts

Well, I wasted a bunch of bases and greenstuff just now. I got impatient and used a heat gun to try and speed up the process a bit, and I warped the bases into uselessness. Go me.

Okay, work done, dinner consumed, dishes washed. Time to write a session report and then try to get some painting time in.

Hmmm, no mention of coffee, or studying for exams... You're not a hamster, you're a Guinea pig! ... Or something else cute and fluffy pretending to be Crowley... ::P:

No coffee at night. Studying will resume after the long weekend. ::P:

Coffee!!

Reminder to anyone plotting time travel, photo ID will become an issue around 1958. It would raise some difficult questions if the photo on your current license matches in a facial recognition test perfectly with one from that era. Especially if the version of you questioned by authorities is the younger version that doesn't yet plot the time traveling, so has no idea what's going on....

It is currently 64F on my back patio where I have decided is today’s office. It should only get up to 82F, so well within limits to keeping the back patio office all day.

She wasn't afraid of the thunder - she was running to the window.

Over.

And over.

And over.

Grumpy isn't nuts (<- He's lying) Grump is just Irish - it was a fine, soft rain.

The Auld Grump

She was also NOISIER than the thunder.

EEEEEEE! And run to the window.

Get her settled, thunder would roll and EEEEEEE! Run to the window again.

Sammy wasn't hiding from the the thunder this time, he was hiding from HER!

It was adorable, but it went on for HOURS.

We've got us some wind and rain here today... Nice steady downpour.

I sure do feel sorry for anyone who has to work in it.... And doesn't like rain!  (it's a good thing this fox doesn't mind a bit of rain!)

On a non-rain related note... Boss just said we're switching up to a two weeks on one week off scheduling for work, instead of what we've had the past two months (one week on, one week off).

I am absolutely ecstatic at this news, even if it means I won't get to hobby as much.  Brain's going nuts having so much "time off"... Quotes used because we still have to answer phone, check (and reply to) texts and emails, etc, as we're being paid.

But sweeeeet, this means things are showing an upwards trend in computers so higher ups are probably happy about that too.

Kinda wish they'd bring back old-timey waitress outfits.

There's just something about a uniform.

Hubby wants to open a monster girl maid cafe. Picture that.

Have you tried using a curing oven? Usually, about half an hour under the light is enough to get the green to the point where you can continue to work on it without screwing up our previous efforts...

It's pretty easy to make one out of a metal can and a cheap desk lamp with an incandescent bulb.

I used to sleep in a body bag. They're actually fairly warm.

Just be sure to either disable the zipper, or turn it inside out so the zipper is on the inside.
